Kept pushing a C-section and I wasn’t high risk
I gave birth to my second in Oct 2023 at 35yo and for the majority of my appts I saw dr strittmatter, he was great He listened, he was optimistic that I could give birth naturally, no problem He said second baby usually comes easier and quicker. I mentioned up front that I did not want a csection bc I have a 3yo at home, my husband works a lot I just had to be back on my feet fast. Well for the last 2 appts I had dr schreiber, he rushed through and kept mentioning a csection bc it’s been 4 years since my last and my age. I was not high risk, I repeatedly told him no unless it last resort needed to be done. When I got induced ofc he was on call, he monitored the baby, heart rate was fine I was in labor for 5 hours he told me she was 9plus lbs and I needed to start preparing for a section. The nurses even said they don’t understand why he wants me to have a csection so bad and to push w all my might. Is it for convenience? More money? Well I pushed for 20mins and she was here at 7lbs 3oz

Uncaring and rude
This man was very uncaring and rude to me. It was my first pregnancy. I expressed some concerns and he dismissed me. It was a terrible experience. It made me switch to a different practice.

I thought this man was incredibly rude. I had just suffered a miscarriage a month ago and found myself pregnant again. He took every opportunity to tell me I was high risk of miscarrying again. He was very rude and made a remarks about my age. (35) I will make sure I never see him again.

As a patient with Suffolk OBGYN for years, I have always been satisfied with the level of professionalism, care, and concern from the clinicians. After years of undergoing fertility treatments, my husband and I are now expecting our first child. I am currently 13 weeks along. My initial appointment was made with Dr. Schreiber. He was the most unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate doctor I have ever had. Throughout the entire appointment he referenced to my age (37) as a negative. He continued to insist on genetic testing even though, my husband and I already had genetic testing, and our embryos were genetically tested too prior to implantation. He acted more like a salesman than an OB. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

I’m still waiting on a call back from this incompetent man. He is looking at a lawsuit at this point. I hope his malpractice insurance is paid up. Refusing to remove a copper iud from a patient showing copper toxicity is a gross protocol violation. In addition, trying to shame a patient showing obvious signs of a problem that you SHOULD be educated about, is disgusting and you will be hearing from me again.

Not caring at all, lack of empathy. Answers your questions with condescending answers. I made the mistake of returning to my obgyn from the specialty group. He did not even do a Doppler or ultrasound because of my case. I just thought it would be nice if I could just know my baby is okay with all the complications going on. Would not recommend or see again especially because of the lack of caring or understanding of my situation.

Literally THE best Dr at the practice, hands down. I scheduled my second section around his availability. Kind, thorough, and detail oriented. I cannot believe there are any 1 star reviews here, especially when there is a certain dr at the practice who is so bad, I'd perform my own c section before letting him touch me again. Dr Schreiber is fantastic!

Words cannot express how rude and arrogant this man is. Avoid seeing him at all cost especially if you are pregnant and not a size 2.

Unprofessional. Doesn’t care what hurts & literally laughs out loud at serious pain. Inappropriate during examinations. There are memories from being in labor with my second baby that I’d rather forget due to this.

Dr. Schreiber delivered my daughter in September 2015. He listened carefully to my thoughts on how I wanted her delivery to go and made sure my pain was well managed. Dr. Schreiber made sure my husband was an active participant and helped us both maintain a sense of humor. I was very relaxed in his care.
