Terrible experience with Halo procedure
Did not see me before or after procedure. Unable to get service or office to return calls. Pain and severe nausea sent me to Baptist ER for IV fluid and subsequent admit to hospital.

I would like to give a very positive review for Dr. Bierman. Dr. Bierman seems very caring, compassionate and informative. He listened to my past history. After the procedure he came and spoke with us. Thankful that I was referred to this excellent provider. Most of the staff in the GI Lab were excellent. The RN that began my IV and sent me out post procedure could use a reminder to be polite. It is always disappointing to see a professional act as if they were anywhere other than at work. Typical overworked Baptist RN.

I don’t ever leave reviews. Consider yourself blessed to have Dr. Bierman as a provider. I had a procedure done and was very scared. I have other health problems that pose an issue having anesthesia and other procedures. He talked to me and reassured me as I was going to sleep..he was genuinely compassionate. He actually cares. You are NOT just another number to him. You are another human being. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He doesn’t rush you. I had an amazing experience and I am so glad I found him.

During a routine appointment with Dr Bierman, he ordered an "extra" test..Just to be sure..... He saved my life. He found a mass on my kidney and sent me in the best direction.... His staff is also the BEST, very caring and have followed up with me on this journey.

Dr. Bierman absolutely saved my life. He did a scope 8 years before I was due to have another one. He didn't like the sound of my symptoms and found 12 polyps which 8 were precancerous. He is kind and listens to everything you have to say. He gives advise, natural solutions and educates you how to deal with your illness. I am forever grateful to him.

On Monday he performed my colonoscopy, a procedure everyone dreads. He is kind, caring and very reassuring. He could not have been nicer. He answered all my questions and was ready to keep going if I had more. In fact the whole staff was wonderful.

Dr. Bierman is thorough and leaves nothing to question in trying to find the cause of your problem. He spends time with you, answers questions, explains, doesn't rush in/out, good mannerism and shows honest concern. These traits are hard to find in a doctor today. I did wait more then an hour to be seen (my first visit) but my appointment was late in the afternoon but I know as the day progresses for a good doctor, they tend to get further behind so it's understandable.

Worst appointment ever today. Was scheduled for 7:45am this morning. They did not get there until 8am. Sat for an hour and still had not been checked in. Receptionist insisted on charging me the full office visit despite what my insurance allowed and I was not allowed to even speak with the doctor because I refused to overpay. Not the first time I have had bad experiences but this is the last because I will never go back and will never recommend anyone else to.
