First time great, second time forgotten
He helped a little. Then brushed off with excuses by other person. Sad shape of medical profession these days. No time and no interest.

10 days to refill prescription
Can’t get through to a live person in his office. More than 10 days to refill a prescription my elderly dad needs. Surly demeanor. I do think he’s smart but shows no sign of compassion.

Don't waste your time with Dr. Paul Later
I saw Dr. Paul Later for an office visit in 2024. He ordered blood work and an MRI. I did both. After the office visit Dr. Later never spoke to me again. In the few months I spent waiting for Dr. Later to respond, I could have seen a Doctor who would help me. Don't waste your time and money with Dr. Paul Later.

My husband had a teleconference with Dr. Later and was very impressed by his thorough and professional manner. My husband had not met Dr. Later but was referred after cardiac surgery. Dr. Later looked over his records and asked very clear and direct questions. He carefully considered a direction for medication and provided us with a thoughtful direction.

I would not recommend this physician to anyone. He is hostile, a terrible listen and cannot interact normally with a patient. He barely examined me and did not do any tests to properly diagnose.

Words cannot express how awful this doctor is. He misdiagnosed me, gave me a completely unnecessary treatment which caused me to have a horrible painful reaction. Trigeminal and Geniculate patients please find someone else!

I have been seeing Dr. Later for four years and he is a wonderful, knowledgeable and patient Doctor. I had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by another doctor and was having a tough time with the medication. He spent nearly two hours with me on my first visit. He had his doubts about my earlier diagnosis which gave me hope. By my third visit I was off the medication and was told I had Essential Tremor, which he is treating with great success. I would trust him with my life.

I thought Dr Later spent a good amount of time explaining in detail my options. I did not feel rushed. I felt he listened to everything I said and I felt like I understood the reasons behind the treatment plan he recommended for me. I would recommend him.

Since I am experiencing some memory loss I was apprehensive to even discover what was going on with me. I have NEVER met a Doctor that I respected more than this Dr. He understood my confusion and carefully and patiently explained every detail of his approach. This is my sister's email site (Charlene Engle) who has been present at each appointment. She and the entire family are grateful and impressed.

Please do NOT see this doctor. He looks normal, even nice. I saw him once. Big mistake. He was hostile and in a terrible mood. He wanted to do a procedure that was not necessary, as his diagnosis was wrong. Again, his diagnosis was wrong!!! He has a negative and unkind manner in speaking with staff and patients. It's time to retire. He looks much older in person. He was so annoyed n rebuffed most of my questions. Not skilled. Incorrect diagnosis, and really mean and irritable. Google another doc.
