Arrived by ambulance at Mercy Medical Center with 12-14 mm kidney stone and life threatening septicemia. Fortunately, Dr. Stratte was on call and inserted a stent then admitted me to ICU for almost 5 days for excellent care. He educated my husband and son concerning my very grave condition and assisted them in making proper choices for my care. He coordinated lithotripsy care to dissolve the kidney stone and provided excellent follow up care. He literally saved my life. Highly recommend.

He sent me to another doctor for a kidney stone removal, then told me what was causing it and said I had to go through a long list of antibiotics for at least 30 days each. He tried 3 antibiotics for 21 days each and then suddenly told me nothing was wrong with me. I've had 2 doctors now who won't treat my problem because the specialist said there was nothing wrong. I have all the same symptoms, another kidney stone and my creatinine is high. I'm probably heading for kidney failure.

Dr. Stratte was straight forward, yet professional. He gives you all your options and encourages you to read all you can about your illness and educate yourself and spouse, so you make the right decisions for your body dependent upon your age and health. I elected prostate removal due to the advanced diagnosis of cancer present. Although I was given many other options by Dr. Stratte, he insisted I take my time with this decision due to it's life changing effects.
