Dismissive
Saw him a few times. The first couple times went fine. During my recent visit I saw his true colors. He is dismissive and argumentative. The amount of empathy he showed to a patient clearly in distress was zero. Left the office feeling worse than when I came in.

Will never recommend to anyone. The fee changing is a mystery. Several bills came home after annual check, although confirmed with insurance company there supposed to be no charge for annual check. After talked with office manager several times, I am totally disappointed. Bad experience.

I am currently a long time patient of Dr Nunez. I consider him an excellent doctor that is very knowledgeable, personable and always willing to take the necessary time to explain things. I moved more than a year ago, 3 hours away and commute to see Dr. Nunez for all my annuals and follow up work that is needed. He is an excellent doctor and hard to replace.

Excellent! I was looking to switch Dr's b/c the Dr. I was seeing kept adding meds on top of each other instead of giving me to the med that worked in the past. I used to take 1 Blood Pressure med that worked perfectly, but I moved to NC and saw a new Dr. She refused to keep me on it, but changed my BP med to a new one. When it didn't work, she added a 2nd and 3rd med. I am so glad I switched to Dr. Nunez! He Listens and got me back to the orig med. Great Guy. He Listens and truly cares!

Dr. Nunez was recommended to me by friends when I moved to Cary. Similar to my doctor on Long Island, Dr. Nunez is conservative in approach to prescribing meds and tests, takes an amazing amount of time listening and thereby in a quiet way learned about me as a person, not just a patient. Appointments are easy to get and Ive never had to wait to be seen. The office staff are friendly and personable. Thanks Dr. Nunez for your caring and thoroughness in evaluating my issues.

I’m surprised by the number of good comments. Gets annoyed at me for his deciding to go thru my medical history. Some questions he asked were rude. This was my first time seeing him. Spent no time listening to or explaining any of my minor problems. Wanted to be safe legally so he gave me referrals for very minor problems I had. Does not care to explain things, does not want to spend time with his patients, and probably wants to see as many patients in the day to make as much money as possible.

I've always preferred female doctors, especially for primary care, but Dr. Nunez changed my mind about that. It's not just that he's attentive, smart, and caring. It's that he actually listens and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything. He's the opposite of those doctors who just throw prescriptions at you--it's hard to find doctors who use drugs only when warranted. Beyond all that, Dr. Nunez is adorable, sweet and has a wonderful staff.
