Confirm insurance coverage before treatment
Dr. Anderson is great, but ASK INSURANCE QUESTIONS BEFORE RECEIVING TREATMENT. His staff at his new office in 2024 will let you make an appointment and receive treatment and they will perform expensive xrays even if they do not accept your insurance, all while failing to let you know that they do not accept your insurance. You just get an astronomical bill in the mail after the fact. I saw Dr. Anderson at his previous office with no insurance problems, he is still under the Anderson Healthcare umbrella, and they did not say 'oh wait, we don't accept this insurance,' so I wrongly assumed my treatment was covered. It was not. Expensive mistake on my end for not asking more questions.

Has always been helpful.
He listened to my problem, examined me, gave me helpful advice and a prescription that worked for me. He has also helped my wife with her health problems. He is an excellent doctor even if you are someone who ignores good advice. I do not.

Told us what we already knew; no fractures or breaks. We went to see why my son's foot pain was getting worse after it began and rested it for 3 weeks. Instead of looking further into it, he told my son to take Aleve and if the activity hurts, don't do it. My son is a multi-sport athlete and has been for years. This is the first time my son has had foot pain issues.

Don’t subject yourself to his ego. He didn’t address why I was there, do an exam or even want to deal with the orthopedic issue I was there for. Within 45 seconds of entering the room I was told to lose 50lb and when stating I wish but explaining some of the challenges that are medically verified by 4 physicians treating a diagnosed condition it was a 5 minute argument that I need bariatric surgery with zero knowledge of my background and unwillingness to even listen. He was too quick to cross into specialities he clearly doesn’t know but did a poor performance for an ortho since I would think assessing movement and a joint would be critical but he saw, heard, felt nothing - I sat there as he spewed insults and hate.

Worst doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I went in due to injury’s to my shoulder, he did not bother to review my mri. Simply said my injury’s were nothing and gave me medication for pain. Other medical professionals informed me that there are multiple tears. I would never recommend anyone coming here!!!

He is a quack. Do not use him, I had him for a bad break that I had to go to the emergency room. After my break healed I could not feel anything in my hand. Numerous appointments to address the numbness in my hand and he finally said the issue was nerve damage due to the break and nothing more could be done. Went to St. Louis and had a second opinion and they found the Dr. Anderson operated on my carpal tunnel nerve and scar tissue was pressing on my nerve, they cleaned it up and never had a iss

NEVER recommend. His philosophy: NO physical therapy??? He cares nothing about the needs of his patients. Older patients with total joint replacements with 2 month diagnosis wait-who haven't used legs-get muscles! atrophy This Quack didn't even listen to hospital physical therapists & tried sending patient home who had not taken more than 4 steps in 3 days post surgery! Cancelled prearranged rehab?!! Patient also lives in tri-level home-NO hand rails- complete disregard of family concerns!!!!
