I throughly agree with previous comments. The front office staff is extremely unfriendly. The need to know “ A little smile goes a long way! “. Dr Boor, what can I say! Kept me editing in the treatment room at least 40 minutes beyond my appointment time. Insincere apology followed. He then proceeded to check for melanoma type moles which I do not have. He zeroed in on a very very small brown mole on my forearm which I have had for years with no changes. He operated and removed it. Walla, no cancer! He is a terribly unprofessional rude medical doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boor's for a couple years now in the Kingston Office of Lackawanna Valley Dermatology. He has a pleasant manner and has always completed a thorough exam. His staff could use a refresher in customer service and friendliness. There is never any warmth behind their greetings when you enter or leave the office. The employees really make me feel more like a 'number' than a 'patient'. Their discussions in the open front office carry into the waiting area. Today I heard them call a patient a 'liar' by name when discussing a missed appointment. While Dr. Boor is a good doctor, his staff is extremely lacking.
