The man turn me away for surgery that I need for 8.5 years due to me turning him in for his poor bedside manners and disregard for hospital protocol.

Dr. Cataldo is patient, kind, honest and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is conservative, yet swift in making a recommendation, be it surgery or not. Many surgeons have a reputation of “cutting to cure”, but Dr. Cataldo takes a holistic approach, and considers all options, while putting himself in the shoes of his patients. All of my office visits with him have been positive, and a recent procedure was done precisely and in a timely fashion before things got worse. The best, hands down!

Dr Cataldo is a superb physician. He removed a difficult large polyp that another doctor had said was impossible to remove endoscopically. He also presented my options clearly, honestly, and without any personal ego--he was ready to refer me to Boston if he hadn't been able to do the procedure. You can't do better.

Dr. Cataldo has been my Gastro dr. since 2003. I was diagnosed by my PC Physician with full blown UC and extremely sick-Rescue Squad transport directly from MMH-Massena- to FAHC-Burlington. Right from my 1st encounter with Dr. Cataldo, I knew I was in the best capable hands. He made me feel so comfortable-even though I was in a pretty bad way-he was very professional, but very compassionate, spoke in terms I could understand, great since of humor, and awesome bedside manner. The best there is!
