Laparoscopic abdominal surgery.
Dr. Cmorej performed laparoscopic abdominal surgery on me after I came to the emergency room with lower abdominal pain. I was diagnosed by CT Scan with an inflamed and perforated Meckel's Diverticulum, a fairly rare condition caused by a congenital defect. Due to severe inflammation, a small section of my intestine had to be removed. Dr. Cmorej was excellent at explaining my condition, performing the surgical procedure, and follow-up. I felt like he literally saved my life. The entire team at Baptist Health did a great job before, during and after my surgery ensuring that my recovery went smoothly and the risk of infection was controlled. I am very thankful to the doctors and nurses at Baptist Health for taking care of me throughout this ordeal. I recommend Dr. Cmorej and Baptist Health 100%!
