Dr. Piruz Motamedinia, MD

Male, 30-40. Last fall, I saw him over a period of several months while passing several stones on both sides and a kidney-stone removal procedure. Each visit, he was dismissive of the fact that I was indeed feeling active pain and spasms, and used the words 'that shouldn't be happening' despite the fact that scans confirmed several large stones.Prior to surgery, he seemed shocked that I was still having active stone pain, and post-op told me that I indeed had quite a number of stones (I am being vague for privacy reasons). After surgery, the office never called to check on me. At post-op followup, I wanted to review the whole endeavor and he said 'no reason' to go over what was said.

Excellent Urologist- explains procedures well and answers all your questions with patience & kindness. He spoke to me & my wife before surgery & right after surgery. He explained in great detail what had happened and how it was resolved- I highly recommend him!!!
