Dr. Priya Prakash, MD

Dr. Prakash is extremely nice and explains everything. She is not in a hurry and takes the time needed so you understand. The office is very nice and the staff is professional and kind. The office is a calm environment. I am thankful to have her as a doctor.

In my opinion, Dr. Prakash is a top notch physician. She is kind, considerate and knows her specialty! And her staff is as well. I am so glad I chose her for my husband's issues.

Dr Prakash is one of the kindest and most patient doctors I’ve ever met. She took her time answering all my questions and concerns, as well explaining my condition to me in detail. Her staff were polite and considerate. Follow up appointments were easy to schedule and I my condition has seen so much improvement. Dr Prakash is definitely the best Rheumatologist I’ve had experience with.

Level of listening to patients is low, rushed , needs more compassion

Dr. Prakash is the BEST rheumatologist that has given me care. Prior to her, I wasn't even able to get out of bed. She diagnosed me and I HIGHLY recommend her. Her staff is always super nice to me and answer all of my questions. Thank you so much Dr. Prakash! I'll be going to her for years to come!

Absolutely a waste of my time. First of all, it took several calls to get through to the office. I tried for almost a month to get through. I even left messages and calls were never returned. I finally got an appointment and wasn’t even seen by the doctor. Only the PA. This was in January. She was totally dismissive of my symptoms and concerns. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2017 and she said I don’t have it just by looking at me. Sent me for blood work and didn’t schedule a follow up until the end of March. I drove 30 minutes to my follow up today only for her to say everything on their end of negative on the blood work. This could have been a phone call. I also don’t understand why I had to wait until March to get the results when I had the blood work done in January. I again brought up all of my symptoms and the reason I was sent there and she was dismissive and said again I don’t have fibromyalgia— even though a previous doctor had diagnosed me with it and I have EVERY single symptom of it. I even brought my notebook I’ve had since 2016 documenting all of my symptoms. She didn’t care at all. Didn’t want to hear it. Just kept saying my blood work was negative— news flash there isn’t blood work for fibromyalgia. The only plus side of this office is the front desk staff, they were always nice. Oh and on my very first appointment in January, when I arrived they said I didn’t have an appointment that it was canceled, but I was never called. They were still able to see me. I do not recommend this office. Find a doctor that will actually listen and want to help. This was a complete waste of my time. I’ve been trying to get this sorted out since the end of 2023 and now I have to start all over and find a new rheumatologist.

Dr Prakash was more concerned about rushing me thru the first and only appointment than helping me. I was uncomfortable and unable to freely discuss my concerns.

I have severe osteo arthritis. At my office visit, she was very cold. Did not want to treat me because I had osteoarthritis & not rheumatoid arthritis. Asked me (in so many words) why I was even there! Staff was pleasant & proficient.

Dr. Prakash has been very detailed and thorough in treating my conditions, explains things in a way I can understand, answers any questions I have, is compassionate and caring. She is the only Rheumatologist I have been treated by that has been able to determine what is causing my symptoms and prescribe medication that really helps. She is absolutely wonderful! Her staff is also very helpful, communicative, and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Prakash to anyone that needs a truly GREAT doctor! Lori B.
