Hip Surgery
I broke my hip coming out of a restaurant in Palatine. I had emergency surgery at Northwest Community Hospital done by Dr. Patel. I could not be happier with Dr. Patel. He did an excellent job on my fractured hip. I like his honesty and sincerity. I feel very blessed to have had Dr. Patel as my surgeon.

My hand experience was good. However he was also treating me for a knee problem,. From April until August I dealt with a painful knee. He said it would heal on its own. He apparently was not qualified and cost me a lot of pain, time and money. Thank goodness I went to Dr Oryhon who said it would not heal on its own and I am having surgery. So much time and pain that could have been prevented ! The office staff was wonderful. BUT NOT DR PATEL

Dr. Patek was wonderful with my daughter and discovered that she had a deficiency that led to her injuries. It was a long recovery and he helped through it all.

Dr patel did major surgery on me and I ended up with an amputation. I think he was way over his head and should have referred me to someone else. After two surgeries with him he told me he couldn't fix me and sent me home with 2 referrals. My wife left him a message to call her and he never returned her call. The whole experience with him was a disaster.
