Excellent doctor and surgeon
I had to have 3 implants and tori removal surgery. Dr. Slaughter listens, gives you options and helps what can be a terribly painful process as comfortable as possible.

Highly Recommend
I had to have two implants and Dr Slaughter was recommended by my dentist. At the initial consultation, I was given an estimate that detailed the services and an itemized list of the costs involved. I met with Dr. Slaughter and after he explained the procedure and answered my questions, I was confident in choosing him for my implants. From my initial consultation to my post-procedure visits, he was professional and also caring. He did a wonderful job and I am extremely pleased with my experience and highly recommend Dr. Slaughter.

Not honest about total cost of procedure
Dr. Slaughter did a good job, but, he was not upfront and honest about the total cost of the procedure. I was given an estimate before surgery. At completion of the procedure (when items needed to be removed 6 weeks later), I was given an additional estimate due before they would schedule the removal (talk about no other choice but to pay)! When I asked why this was not disclosed with the original total cost, I was told this is the way they do business. I think it is bad business to not disclose the entire cost of a procedure up front. He did not seem to care what I thought. I would be careful if you use him to get all of the costs up front. He was extremely expensive.

Fantastic Surgeon and Staff!
From the moment I I received a call from his staff to schedule my first appointment until my final visit to his office for my release, everyone was skilled, wise and compassionate! They all, obviously recognized me as any ordinary person about to go through an extraordinary experience. I had to have a complete replacement of all of my teeth with implants. I was truly blessed to end up with the entire staff of the Texas Institute of Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery handling every step of my initial surgery and recovery. I could not have received more caring and personal care throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this group of medical proffesionals to anyone! I give a heartfelt thanks to Dr Slaughter and his entire staff!

I have a terrible dental phobia and needed another implant. My new dentist highly recommended Dr. Slaughter and I was blown away by the quality of care and follow up. Dr. Slaughter uses deep sedation and the process was easy and completely painless. I went to sleep and was done when I woke up. I wish I had done my other extractions and implants with Dr. Slaughter! His staff is absolutely wonderful!
