Dr. Rachel Bernstein, MD

Excellent , professional and competent doctor. Her staff is also. Would highly recommend her.

After 10.5 years, I stopped seeing Dr. Rachel Bernstein. My last visit she didn’t listen, didn’t examine me or order tests, and I knew something wasn’t right. She chalked it up to hormones and age. I immediately went to another OBGYN, who ran tests and examined me. Turns out I was right, they found issues on my right ovary and need to operate. To say I’m furious at Dr.Bernstein’s negligence and dismissiveness to her acting like ‘she sees this all the time, and knows it’s hormonal’ and ‘go to a fertility dr, running blood work and ultrasound tests here is a waste of time and money’ without being sure, is mind-boggling. Do NOT trust her, she clearly doesn’t care about her patients, even after 10.5 years of seeing them. She’s gone way downhill and should stop practicing with this approach, she’s endangering her patients! I’ve also had several friends I’d referred over the years stop too, and I should’ve listened to their warnings. Horrible experience!

I have been going to Dr. Bernstein for the last few years but this final visit will be my last. I had questions about a potential hormonal issue. While laughing, she accused me of “self-diagnosing” and refused to run any tests. She instead told me I needed to eat healthy (something I indicated I was already doing) and see a nutritionist. She said I could visit an endocrinologist but wouldn’t give me a referral. The only advice I was given was to see my primary care physician. I wasn’t looking for an immediate diagnosis but just wanted to find some answers. Doctors should listen to their patients and commit themselves to finding answers. I didn’t get this from her unfortunately.

First the office is a state of the art facility and very well managed. Secondly Dr Bernstein is a calming person explaining everything that would be happening and thoroughly reviewing my history. The exam was as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend

My experience was excellent. The office is warm and welcoming and all of the staff is amazing! Dr Bernstein is thorough and committed to getting results. She has a great bedside manner and delivers information in a way that is understandable. She is compassionate and has a good balance of when to be firm and when to be gentle. Highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Bernstein has been my doctor for over a decade now, and there’s no one else I’d rather see (but Dr Calvo is a good second!) The office is very chic, but comfortable; the staff is friendly and caring; and Dr Bernstein has always made time to listen to me and answer questions, even if she’s running behind. I always feel like a person with her, and not a number.

Dr. Rachel Bernstein and her staff are extremely professional. Their attention to detail does not go unnoticed. The front staff makes it easy to make appointments and their text reminders of your appointment make it so you don't miss your appointment. Both my husband and I are extremely thankful for all the care and attention that was given to during both of our pregnancies. Dr. Bernstein went out of her way to be present for my deliveries. I have been a patient of her for over 8 years.
