Dr. Rachel Dahlborg, MD

This review is primarily about the staff in Dr. Dahlborg's office, although, staff behavior should be a function of the overall office emotional environment which I believe is set by the doctor's practicing there. In TWO attempts to request a refill on a prescription, I waited 2 hrs on hold on Friday 1/26 until I finally left a request for a call-back by 'pressing 1'. A call back was never received neither Friday nor Monday. On Tuesday, I again attempted to call and when I reached 45 minutes of wait time, I got in my car to go to the office and personally request a refill. Needless to say, I was not happy, but the attitudes of the receptionist staff (plural) was appalling to say the least. Instead of attempting to solve the unacceptable problem of a patient, I was viewed as the problem itself. In fact, I was sent to 'the principal's office' like naughty child. The office manager chastised me for my behavior. I WILL find another doctor with a competent staff.

I will never ever bring my baby to this doctor and her nurse Sandy ever again! I asked to spread out my baby’s immunizations and come to find out when I went to a new pediatrician they gave me the print out from Florida shots and my baby was given a combo shot which included 5 of the vaccines. I was told at the office she was only getting two shots and the oral RV vaccine. So my baby was supposed to have an upcoming appointment for her “remaining” “3 shots” the nurse sandy called me to cancel because she said Dr. Dahlborg wasn’t in the office so I said aren’t you the one that administers the shots why do I need to see dr. Dahlborg, then she corrected herself and said well we don’t have one of the vaccines we only have 2 of the 3 vaccines she said! LIES!!!! My baby only needed one more vaccine not 3! Also when you call the office it takes a minimum of half hour to get someone on the phone at reception desk. And if you need a call back from the nurse it’s a minimum 2 hours you’re waiting

I needed a new Dr. A Physical was scheduled. She barely performed any of the standards of a Physical. She did not check my eyes, ears, abdomen. She not check for any swelling. Did not ask about my diet (yes I am overweight). She did not counsel me on anything. She wore a mask. No one else in the office wore a mask. She only performed a breast and Pap on my request. She suggested I may need an ENT Dr yet did not give me a referral. My one and only prescription was not filled. I had to call back. I have reported her to the FL Department of Health and her superiors.

She really took care of my mom, a Parkinson's patient, from 2015-2021, when my mom passed. Her office always coordinated with my mom's main Parkinson's doctor in Sarasota.

Impersonal. Barely participated in new pt. visit. Staff scanned historical info but Dr. D did not review/question during initial visit.

Do yourself a favor and find a doctor who actually cares about your health condition. This office does not listen to its patients and does bare minimum, just enough to file a claim on your policy. Annual appointments last 3 minutes at best (with history of some major health event).

Dr. Dahlborg is perfunctory, at best. Miss diagnosed, no follow up and she, allegedly, referred me to 2 specialists 10 days ago, neither of whom called. Have left her practice.

I have become comfortable and have begun to trust Dr. Dahlborg and her nurse.

Dr. Dahlborg has been such an amazing patient advocate. She takes time to hear my concerns and has worked hard to help me get my health back on track. The entire office staff are kind and patient even when I have been a pest. I trust them so much my adult daughter is her patient as well. We couldn’t be happier with this team.

I've been a patient of Dr. Dahlborg for 2 and a 1/2 years. I have a very complex medical history. Dr. Dahlborg is timely, I never wait very long. Stass are always professional and helpful. Most importantly, Dr. Dahlborg listens, provides a good health exam, has make excellent treatment decisions, and refers to other specialists when needed. She also works well with my other specialists. I have referred several friends to her practice.

I brought my daughter Olivia in as a new patient and had a wonderful visit with this Dr. The staff could not have been more wonderful as well. Thank you very much for making us feel so welcome.

Very cold individual. Never makes you feel comfortable. Looks pretty much at her computer most of the time. But most importantly is not a really good dr. and would not reccommend her to any one. Sandy her nurse speak to u like your deaf and she also is not friendly at all. You feel like a number from start to finish. For me I want a dr that is really good and a bedside manner would be a benefit .You most definitely will not find it with dr Dahlborg or her nurse Sandy. Check out girls r great

Does not listen, does not think. Your pain and health troubles are none of her business . But you will get a prescription .

This doctor had no personality at all. I went for my initial visit and all she did was type into her laptop.

Very knowledgeable and patient with older patients as well. Staff was also kind and helpful in all areas. Highly recommend Dr Dahlborg.
