Dr. Rachel McLean, DO

Dr. McLean and her MA Lisa were very friendly, kind, supportive and answered all my questions. Dr. McLean should win an award for the most pain-free pap ever. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed in her care. They went out of their way to ensure the labs I needed were addressed and provided stellar care. Dr. McLean spent time explaining recommendations and plan of care. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mclean is such an amazing physician! She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough with every visit, and I leave feeling confident in my medical care, and plans for future appointments. She is very relatable, and genuine. I would recommend her to anyone needing routine women's exams, as well as OB care.

I had a great first visit with Dr. McLean. She was very kind and has great beside manner. I also had the most amazing ultrasound tech named Becky. She made me feel so warm and like she was truly excited for me. I was nervous about my first OB appointment ever but everyone at the Mayfair office was amazing.

Dr. McLean is a great doctor. She is very attentive and knowledgeable. Her staff and office are top notch and are very caring and friendly. I am always so comfortable and at ease with Dr. McLean and her nurses. She delivered both of my children and continually takes great care of me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great OBGYN.

My visit with Dr.McLean was exceptional! Being new to the state of North Carolina from New York is an adjustment in itself and going to new healthcare providers are extremely stressful. Dr. McLean was very kind and listened to all of my concerns. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know you and explain everything in detail. I was very pleased with my visit and would highly recommend Dr. McLean as a healthcare provider.

Dr. McLean delivered my granddaughter and I wouldn’t let her deliver another one. She was unprofessional and being change of shift left the impression she was in a hurry to deliver my daughter that she threatened a c/s at 7cm because of a deceleration instead of giving her time to recover. Her rush to repair after the vaginal delivery caused my daughter to lose a unit of blood and she had to be transfused 2 units. Another provider came in and found 2 places that were actively bleeding and completed the proper repair. This, I am sure, is not an isolated incident. I got that impression from the nursing staff. Not happy with her care but absolutely loved the nursing staff. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. McLean! She is gentle and approachable but also very relatable. She listens to your concerns, validates you, presents you with options, and balances her expert knowledge with respect for the patients choice. I highly recommend her for you ob/ gyn care but she is also great for other general practitioner needs. Dr. McLean is the best! ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

The most efficient Dr's office I have been to. 2:00 appointment, 2:18 leave time. Also, extremely professional, friendly and comfortable. Thanks ladies:)

Dr. McLean will sit with you and go over your chart the first time she meets with you. She asks thorough questions and actually gets to know you a little. I've seen her multiple times and she tends to sit and talk with you if you have questions for her. If not, she will listen to baby's heartbeat, measure your belly, and ask typical questions, like, if you are feeling baby kick. I really hope she's the dr on duty when I go into labor! She's the type of dr you want when pregnant or in in labor.
