Dr Raj Paolavaram Could NOT care Less about my son
My son had experienced his first anaphylactic response the night before we saw Dr Paolavaram. This Dr didn’t have much to say about it and seemed completely unconcerned. He clearly did not want to be bothered ordering allergy tests to try to discover what might have caused this life threatening condition. After convincing him to do a standard allergy panel, he said come back in “2-3 weeks”! What? We needed answers ASAP! We returned a week later, after 2 more anaphylactic reactions, it was clear he had not read his notes. He asked no questions, not even how my son was feeling. He had no allergy report and didn’t remember ordering them. He told his secretary to print out the lab results, if there were any, and give them to us. He then went into the next patient. We were left in the waiting room to decipher the report ourselves. He had no intention of helping us. It was a horrible experience! We went to him because he was in network, but its much better to pay out of pocket! NEVER AGAIN

Appointment was at 10am. It is 11:20 and the doctor is still not available. Where is the concern for patient time? I walked out. Not worth my time waiting even after taking an appointment a month before.

I have never met an internal medicine doctor that truly cares about the person as a whole. He doesn't think about what is wrong with you , he helps you see and find all the things that are right with you. He is more then a doctor, I consider Dr. Raj and his wife my family. He has been my doctor for over 6 years now, and l would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a compassionate, thorough, intelligent doctor.

I'm writing this review after giving Dr. Raj a fair chance to demonstrate how well he is as a physician in all aspects. He is a good doctor, but sometimes not good enough when dealing with a complex condition, especially when it doesn't require a specialist evaluation. This doesn't matter if you're looking for common health problems or just need a routine physical, but I would recommend going elsewhere. He routinely overbooks and has nearly a 1-1.5 hour long wait time...that was the last straw

Staff are very deceitful with information abot payment for medical check-up & vaccinations needed for immigration purposes.Maximum total cost was supposedly $450 & cost will be reduced depending if found positive during the blood work & vaccination will no longer be needed. While waiting for the results, I was told that I only need to pay $300 & the $150 will be paid only if MMR is needed per blood result. They didn't administer MMR but was still forced to pay $150!It now became doctor's payment!
