Beware of Absent Minded Dr
Horrendous care. Dismissive with symptoms and when I asked for additional tests. Begrudgingly did the test and never produced results. Fast forward. Went in for some of the same issues. Did some testing. Kept fumbling around for results. Asked 3 times for results to tests. Snapped at me for asking the 3rd time, telling me we had talked about those results. Fumbles around to find the papers (over the phone on a Friday) then starts reading all of it like it’s the first time he’s ever seen it and tells me.. looks like they are saying you have cancer!!! This guy needs to retire! Please save some lives by retiring! MAYBE we could have found the cancer 2 years ago when I started inquiring?

He's been treating me for close to 25 years. His treatment of me over the last month has greatly reduced the discomfort I've been putting up with for close to 10 years. I wish I had seen him about this sooner. Great doctor, nice guy.

I went to Dr Rogers for an ileostomy takedown procedure. Dr Rogers not only left my incision dog-eared (points on both ends of scar) but repeatedly denied and failed to diagnose the resulting gastroenteric fistula. In fact upon repeated visits to his office with a literal hole in my abdomen at the incision site (the wait times were bad too), he sarcastically laughed at me and told me to “stay off the internet.” My family dr made the diagnosis confirmed with yet another CT. Dr Rogers got mad that I was admitted with the fistula I asked him about but that he had vehemently denied. He did nothing to correct it. The military brought me back under their care where I was successfully treated. Would never go back to Dr Rogers.

Over the past 30 years, Dr Rogers has treated me and other members of my family for hereditary conditions that lead to colon cancer. He has had to perform a colectomy (total removal of large intestine) due to precancerous polyps. I also performed successful surgeries for two incidences of hemorrhagic pancreatitis. I have been impressed with his clear manner of communication with a encouraging cheerful demeanor. To be cancer free and in good health at age 70 attests to his skill as a surgeon.
