Dr Caplan and Tricia are a great team and gave me exceptional attention and care. So sorry to see them leave Southcoast and pray Dr Caplan gets better. They are dedicated compassionate people. Dr Caplan is the best doctor I have ever had!!

Dr. Chaplin was my physician for the past 10 years. He was very caring and honest with any concerns that I had. To have to change doctors seems to be so hard and complicated. You create a trust and confidence in them and to have to change is unfortunate. Thank you Dr. Randal Caplin for your professional and personal feelings that you extended to me in our short experiences together. Dr Caplan has been on medical leave The NP that is covering is the most uncaring unfriendly person I have ever met. You go into the office to make an appointment and 3 girls are sitting their on their phones one has their daughter with them at work. They dont care that you walk in. Trish is outside walking around on her cell phone and be there by 4 cause they are outside starting their cars getting ready to leave. He has been a good dr but since last fall when he hasnt been there the office has gone down hill. All you hear is go to urgent care we cant fit you in. Why have a primary. Hawthorn Medical here I come

Dr Caplan has always been very kind and understanding. He is careful to explain reasons for treatment and ways to change behavior such as diet etc to maintain a healthy body.

I had an earache and he recommended a ear specialist , instead of trying to help me , he looks at his laptop most of the time during your visit , I would not recommend him

He took medical leave and left his patients no notice. The doctor filling in is not great either. Can't get an appointment until 6 months from now because his staff can't be upfront the first time to let you know he's taking another medical leave of absence! Will be finding another primary care doctor now. He should of sent a letter to his longtime patients so they are informed and don't get stuck with a fill in doctor who doesn't know his patients at all.

I made a great choice when picked DR Caplan HE takes his time and explains things so you know and understand. One of the best The staff is great to

I truly feel Dr Caplan Saved my life. He took me immediately. When considering the options he knew and felt the best thing would be referring me to the best doctor to help take my care. He is so personable and relatable. Very honest and focused. Never left me "hanging". The end result. The doctor he referred was awesome and fit my need. Dr Caplan is a family doctor literally my whole family! He is truly the best!! And Trish in the office is sooo Great! they all make you feel like family!!
