Arrogant, Gaslighting, Dismissive
I saw Dr. Connover as a new patient for my sched2 medication. I asked over the phone if that was something he did and was told yes. Once there he accused me of being on multiple controlled substances (I’m not), even to the point of bullying me about incorrect information regarding my prescriptions. He was looking for any reason to not prescribe the meds I was specifically there to get the ones they said yes to over the phone that I have been on for 4+ years under another doctor. He was against every medication I had, trying to change things that are working well and shaming me for even needing them. Was visibly annoyed by everything I had to say; he did not care. He prescribed me something totally different saying to come back in a month for a drug test to make sure there was nothing in my system outside of my existing prescriptions. My one or two migraine pills a month were treated like I was an addict. Condescending. Arrogant. Disrespectful. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Uncaring, lack of compassion
Dr Conover when first meeting seems inteligente and very likeable. After becoming a patent, he starts giving orders and changing what has been working for years. I suffer from fibromyalgia, He took all pain meds away. I sent him a message that I was having severe pain, his response was that he didn't feel comfortable prescribing narcotics pain meds. He has issues with someone offering suggestions or questioning him. He is uncaring and rude to people. I wouldn't recommend him for anyone.

Awesome physician. Explains things well. Love his bedside manner. When needed he can be pretty blunt but I trust him so I listen. And he listens! Very smart guy. Thinks outside the box to help find best treatments.

Dr. Conover is amazing and so great with kids! His bedside manner is very calming and my little boys always leave smiling. Both him and his staff are awesome! It is such a blessing to have such a great family Dr. for them! Also, we never have to wait long and they usually can get us seen the same day as needed for walk-ins!

Takes the time to listen to your issues and concerns. Treats conservatively (a plus) and tries to get you to fix the problems before they become serious. Takes into consideration all factors when prescribing treatment and/or medications. Preaches at the patient just enough, but some would think too much, others would rather just get a script and be done. Overall a very good balance in treatment and care.

I have doctored with Dr. Conover since 2005; he is totally competent and caring -- as an elderly patient I probably don't ask questions like younger generations do, but I trust him completely. He has referred me to specialists when necessary, always follows up and I especially appreciate his awareness of the cost of medication and his willingness to prescribe the most appropriate, effective, least costly meds to treat me. I would highly recommend Dr. Conover to anyone in need of quality care.

Dr. Conover has been wonderful to our family and is also a servant of the community. Every year, he gives free physicals to over 100 local boy scouts going to summer camp. As for his medical skills, I've never had a doctor so willing to share knowledge and work with other doctors to make sure the patient's whole body is being considered. For example, when multiple specialists each add their own blend of pharma drugs, Dr. Conover makes sure the specialists know what other drugs are being taken.
