Excellent experience
Dr Turcu was kind, personable & an excellent physician. He explained everything in detail prior, during & after the injections to my lower back. He has a warm, engaging personality. He is a credit to MGH.

Incredibly down-to-earth, friendly, and competent
Dr. Turcu’s down-to-earth, friendly and exuberant demeanor make you feel immediately at ease. He arrived at our consultation right on time - and well informed regarding the relevant aspects of my medical history - and he is an extremely empathetic listener who is clearly sincerely interested in the wellbeing of his patients. During our consultation, he was able to quickly ascertain that an epidural steroid injection would not not be feasible in my case and that I really needed to consult with a neurosurgeon; nonetheless, he took the time to go over with me the findings of my recent MRI, to provide a direct answer to all of my questions, and to offer recommendations as to how I should proceed in seeking appropriate medical care. He is a very knowledgeable doctor. When I returned home after our consultation, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he had already entered copious comprehensive and detailed after-visit notes into my patient portal. Simply a fantastic doctor.
