Dr. Reena Nanjireddy, MD

I am sure Dr. Nanjireddy is a knowledgeable scientist, but her bedside manner is severely lacking. In both of the appointments I've had with her I felt extremely dismissed and like my situation was a waste of her time and should be someone else's problem. She didn't express any sympathy or empathy or seem to understand how scary the situation was for me as a patient, and rather than talking the situation through and explaining the test results and the options I was treated like I was difficult for asking questions about them. A medical student also was invited to sit in on my appointment, but no one asked for my consent or even introduced her, and she ended up sitting like 3 feet away from me during one of the most stressful and deeply personal doctors appointments of my life and made faces and shook her head throughout my appointment in a very distracting and off-putting way

Totally unprofessional, she will not listen to you, she will cut you off midway through your sentence, condescending tone and attitude. She schedules numerous unnecessary lab tests and does not take responsibility for mistakes she has made on record such as prescribing the wrong medication, spelling the word "clinic" incorrectly, the wrong birthdate on paperwork, etc...Totally unethical and untrustworthy person who does more guesswork than actual work. When asked to write anything, she will refuse and respond with "I will sign a form I have to but I am not writing anything." She is quick to dismiss any of your concerns and only knows how to schedule appointments to lab tests that you have either already done or do not need. I have never seen her wash her hands and she has never greeted me with anything other than "So what is going on?" Beware of this doctor, and make sure you report her as soon as red flags are raised by her carelessness and elitist attitude.
