Arrogant and Condescending
Seemed nice at first but he is more focused on time and himself than on patient. Gets irritated with questions and doesn't listen to you. Tells one thing then does the other. Never available. Makes you not want to go to appointments.

Compassionate and professional
First time seeing Dr. Douty today and I was very impressed! I worked in healthcare with physicians for over 40 years so I know a thing or to. He was very thorough and thoughtful. Went through my history, my medications and my issues carefully. He listened and was caring. I hope he will be my doctor for many years to come!

Dr. Douty is amazing! He listens to me and has helped me immensely in helping me make medical decisions pertaining to my health. I would strongly recommend Dr. Douty to anyone.

Long time patient
I have been a patient of Dr. Douty since he came to Beaver Clinic and I can’t be happier with the care he has provided. He listens carefully and addresses all of my concerns. I’m 75 and trust him totally.

I've been a patient for many years, and have come to realize all he cares about is keeping his waiting room clear. I make a list of things I want to discuss since my previous visit, but says pick your top 3 because that's all I have time for. I had discussed a "pimple" on my nose that wasn't healing, on more than one visit, he gave it a cursory glance, and said it was fine. Seeing him during COVID has been a nightmare, calling and rescheduling appointments to phone or online appointments...when I finally got fed up and asked for a referral to a dermatologist, I was told by his nurse he had to see men about it first, I said :"he has!" He finally gave me a referral and it turned out it wasn't a pimple but basal cell carcinoma, now I have a noticeable scar, it would be less noticeable had I been seen 1 year earlier. There have been other issues including refusal to sign FMLA documents, promising referrals that I never got...Worse doctor...Seems nice at first.

He was able to spend a lot of time with me talking about himself and listening to a few of my problems ... we didn't even touch the tip of the iceberg... He raised my prescription for a harmful medication that is making me sick , and when I started to tell him about my chest pain... he rushed out of the room and didn't come back they scheduled me with another appointment for 4 months later... This is what I call fake medicine !

Dr. Douty has been my primary care doctor for several years. After careful consideration, I have decided that he does not care about my concerns, health, or well being. I will be looking for another primary care doctor.

Worst dr I've ever seen in my life. I had two extra questions and he took it as a personal insult to his intelligence and belittled and offended me. Please avoid this dr at all costs
