I had been ill for a few days and could barely walk. Front desk staff got me a wheelchair immediately. Mario Rangel and his assistants took great care of me. I have used Dr Vela as our PCM for three years now and have always been treated well. Yes, you will have to patient with wait time occasionally. Good medical service takes time.

The front desk staff isn’t very friendly and hardly smile. They seem frustrated upon patients signing in. The wait time is horrible...two hours or more WITH appointment....just to be seen two quick minutes in the exam room and ushered out quickly. The one time I dont mind going is when the PA is there. He seems more concerned and friendlier than everyone else. Plus he takes his time to actually listen to patients and is very nice.

My friend had recently an appointment with Dr. Vela. She was 6th on the list at 10 am, she was THE LAST t be taken in the office, just before 5 pm, when they close. Many walk-ins came and got to the doctor and she has been waiting for 6 hours to see him. Recommending is not likely, the waiting time is a disrespect to the patient and to their medical problem.
