Worst Doctor
Has no regard for how her errors impacts her patients financially. She failed to submit the proper paperwork which caused my insurance to reject the entire bill. Now I am stuck with a 2k bill. I pay monthly insurance and now I’m stuck with a bill because of Alexis failure and she refused to help in any way. AVOID this horrible doctor. Don’t even care how this has caused a financial hardship. HORRIBLE

My appt. was at 1:30pm and I waited until 2:40 before the staff told those waiting that Dr. Renee Alexis was running late but that she was now here. I was told there was one person ahead of me and then I was taken in the back. I was undressed for half an hour and still no doctor after 2hrs of waiting. If you have time to waste she is definitely the Doctor for you. Zero respect for other people's time.

The Dr herself was ok, however, the negligence of her staff is enough for me to give the practice 1 star. I would never recommend this practice even to my worst enemy. One Sunday I called the after-hours line with a very important question, but not something that required going to the ER, and supposedly a Dr was supposed to call me. Absolutely no call. I was very disappointed. Don't have an after-hours line if nobody will monitor the phones. Then, I received a $1000 blood work bill that Dr. Alexis told me to do, and was so shocked that their office never advised me that 1) this was an expensive test or 2) maybe I should have asked for a pre-approval from my insurance carrier first. When I asked later what billing codes they used, the nurse Connie said "I coded it right. Not my problem." They were very uncaring when I told them my insurance company wanted a "medical necessity" letter/ The receptionist Tyril said they would call but of course, never called.

I’ve been with Dr. Alexis since 2004 and would never go anywhere else. She delivered my two boys and both C-sections were flawless. She really cares about her patients and makes sure all their questions are answered. I simply love Dr. Alexis

Dr. Alexis is one of the best ob/gyns in Broward county. I have recommended her services to many of my friends and have heard nothing but positive feedback. She takes the time to listen and address any of your concerns and makes you feel like you're talking with a friend who just so happens to be a knowledgeable MD. I would highly recommend her services.

I am 51yrs young now but I meet Dr. Alexis thru my Family Doctor Dr. Richard McLean who is also a excellent Doctor. I went to another doctor because I had Fibrosis and he mess me up bad with my surgery. They grew back on my Uterus and I was 48 Yrs old and I was scared to go to another doctor and That's when I was told about Dr. Renee Alexis & her father(also a god sent doctor) when I first came in the office I was nervous but when I left they made my mood change with the care that I was gave me

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this DOCTOR (OB/GYN) This doctor is very unprofessional. She is demeaning to her patients. She is very disrespectful. I am contacting the Medical Board on this Physicians. I feel it's my responsibility to warn other women about this doctor.I am so glad we have this web portal to communicate with each other. It's hard to find a doctor to care for our well being.

I love Dr. Renee Alexis. She is awesome. She is the reason I was able to conquer breastfeeding as a first time mother. She takes time to teach and explain your medical situation to you. So if that results in having to wait in her office to be seen I will take that any date over a doctor who is not personable and comes in your exam room and gives you a five minute visit.

Terrible experience!! At first I waited 2 hours before I could see Dr. Alexis. She seemed nice at first appointment. Then she sends me to genetic counseling and it turns out I have placenta pervia and the specialist that saw me told me I?m not at high risk. However, Dr. Alexis decided she won?t take me anyway and instead of her calling me in person to explain her decision, instead she had one of her staff call me to say she wasn?t taking me. She left me with no recommendation to another Doctor.
