Unfortunately recommended by my child’s insurance. He does not listen to the issues or concerns of his patient or parent of child. Just prescribes whatever he is use to using with everyone, it seems like. I would never recommend him for anyone needing help.

The doctor consistently runs a minimum of 45 minutes late. It is difficult to make an appointment because calls are not returned.

I have been working with Dr. Espillat for 14 years. He is completely involved in every appointment, he listens, and he CARES. I highly recommend Dr.Espillat to all ages. He is truly an expert He is gifted and the most decent, kind, and caring doctor I have ever known. As a medical professional myself, I speak as a patient and also as someone who has worked with hundreds of physicians. Thank you Dr. Espillat!

my 1st appointment was at 10AM, the Dr arrived at 11:10 with a waiting room full of people, at least 3 with 10AM appointments. The 2nd appointment was at 10:30, by 11:20 I left because I had a final exam at school, he still hadn’t arrived. Its now 3:33 and I’m waiting for my 3:00 appointment, waiting room full of people and the Dr has yet to arrive. I can’t honestly review his medical abilities, but I find his scheduling practices unprofessional and rude.

First they told me the doctor doesn't accept my insurance and to pay $150.00 after I told them he was on my provider list they checked with insurance and long behold there he was participating. I had an early morning appointment and the doctor walks in 45 minutes late. after waiting over an hour in a waiting room full of people I left. Extremely disappointed after waiting for 3 weeks to be seen.

Worst DR ever. He literally made me stay on abilify for 4 months after 1 month I told him I want off abilify he said no give it another try so after 4 months of his games I just never went back. I also remember he wanted my mom to Baker act me for having weed in my system. He literally was convincing my mom for a hour. I'm like me smoking weed isn't putting my life or no ones life in danger. And the weird thing is abilify does more harm than weed.

Stay away. He will have you coming in once a month to get medication which is not necessary. I found another doctor who gave me 3 month refills. He said doctors are not allowed to do that which is not true. He has you coming in so he can charge the insurance company for every visit which is 15 minutes at the most.

Usually waited 45 min to be seen, but one time was 70 min past the appointment time, and he took the person scheduled after me first even though I was technically his first patient. His office is regularly filled with people asking How much longer?. God bless the receptionist that has to have to cover for him. I wish I could get my copay back for each time I sat without 24 hrs notice of him essentially changing the appointment time- which he asks his patients to extend him.

Aweful does not return fellow physicians calls from the ER during a visit that he sent you to so to get evaluated. Wont see you unless you enter his PHP program and only then does he speak to you for 10 minutes and bills separate for that.

I would highly recommend this doctor two people looking for help with all mental illnesses and mental disorders anxiety disorders eating disorders PTSD and more. He has helped me in the past two years become a different person with his approach to treatment, techniques & medications. Ive been seen by 10 or more doctors in my past and he is the only one who took the time to listen, and he communicates so you understand everything.
