Excellent dermatologist
After wandering thru may derms since I first developed psoriasis at 4 years old. Dr Johnson is a no-nonsense leading authority on the disease in my opinion. I have been through it all: UVB, UBB, PUVA, biologics.

Avoid this man! As other reviewers noted, he’s pretty arrogant—but that’s to be expected from older male practitioners, and that’s far from the worst issue. Dr Johnson is 80 years old, and while I know many people in their 80s and 90s whose minds are lively and sharp, this man is decidedly not in that condition. He seemed disoriented for most of the appointment. He mumbled. He interrupted me repeatedly to ask off-topic questions (“Do you drive?” “Ever take the bus?”). He asked my age 3 times (not asking my DOB to verify my identity) and every time I said politely “I’m 41,” he looked blank, as if he didn’t remember asking. Everything I asked him to look at (3 moles, and a couple of painful red bumps) he muttered, “I don’t see anything, do you?” Finally, he said “If you haven’t had any sun exposure in the first 20 years of life, there’s nothing to worry about,” and wandered out. Appalling.

Seriously just a rude, condescending person. Doesn't take the time to answer my questions properly, rushes me out the door, and tells me to follow up with another doctor so he doesn't need to take care of it. The negative reviews down below are right. Avoid him if you can.

He was rushed and completely rude. He barely checked me at all and ignored my concerns completely. He was arrogant and kept talking through me as if I wasn’t even in the room avoid him at all cost.

Bad experience. Dr Johnson didn’t care to take time and answer questions, and was quite literally standing with one foot out the door of the exam room while I tried to ask questions (in my underwear). He then prescribed me an extremely expensive ointment without giving any indication of cost. I recommend you find someone else.
