Dr. Robert Fogolin, MD

I've been with Dr. Fogolin for about 18 years. Need I say more? Helped me with numerous issues with knees and shoulders, including major shoulder repair just over a year ago!! Great care always. Very clear and actually listens to you!! Can't recommend highly enough!

My first visit with Dr. Fogolin was in 2013 he saw my for my left knee then he treated me again in August 2023 for my left shoulder I saw him again today for my left knee.. He is an amazing person I like the fact that he is honest with you he gives you different options if there is more than one with those options he explains what those options come with.. he is very kind and funny... I tried to see another orthopedic doctor it didn't work out so well then I found were he was and made an appointment.... I've also referred my husband to him

Dr. Fogolin’s attentiveness to my separate issues and in my various visits to his office was refreshing. From his prescription recommendations and the PT he suggested, I’m not only back on track but have improved my mobility while decreasing my day-to-day pain.

I had a total knee replacement on my right knee and had my 6 week post op appt today. The x-rays show that Dr. Fogolin's work was perfect! And, most importantly (lol), the incision looks amazing......you can barely see it! From beginning to end, Dr. Fogolin was very professional and paid a lot of attention to detail and to explaining everything to me. I would highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr Fogolin is very knowledgeable and reassuring! I have utmost confidence in him. Not only does he have the skills, he is very kind and considerate! Very thankful for him!!

The main issue was poor billing. We were overcharged on the MRI and they would not reply to my request for explanation of why. Then they sent the bill to collections. I would avoid the Hughston Clinic completely. The doctor initially did not think there was an issue, and we had to request an MRI which revealed a stress fracture. Just very frustrating.

Dr Fogolin is very in depth as to what is going on with your injury. This is the second time I have used him and he was great both times.

I really like that he gives you all the options to the problem, explains it well and lets you evaluate with no pressure.

I had issues with both my knees. Dr Fogolin spent a lot of time going over all of the options in detail. Decided to do a steroid shot in one knee and clean out surgery on the other. I have had no pain in the knee with the injection and recovering quickly from the surgery. Virtually no pain, increased mobility and elimination of the pain from inside the knee. I would highly recommend Dr. Fogolin.

Dr. Fogolin is an excellent doctor a gifted orthopedic surgeon and an even better person, if you or someone you love is experiencing joint pain I highly recommend Dr Fogolin and The Houghston Clinic.

Shoulder recovery is a long process and during this time Dr Fogolin pushed to help me get the best possible results.

Most recent experience was a pretty rough shoulder surgery that that he took care of with the same fabulous skills he has used to treat other ailments. Results have been wonderful and just had 6 mo checkup. Doing ALL the things I could do before, but without pain! Great staff, great facility, and top notch care. Couldn't be happier!!!

He was understanding when it came to my needs. We talked of surgery and I have great results in doing so. I suffered from carpal tunnel. I couldn't even pick my kids up and hug them or even buttoning clothes was painful to me. I would recommend Dr. Fogolin to the world. He's genuine I remember b4 I had my surgery the nurse asked me in you're own words what is it that u want Dr. Fogolin to do. I then said to relieve the pain in my hands... and that's what he did

I had visited Dr. Fogolin in the past, and most recently in March 2023 for a right foot fracture. Dr. Fogolin is always professional, accurate in his diagnosis, and straight-forward. Dr. Fogolin does talk a lot (laughs!) HOWEVER, it is because he wants you to fully understand the scope of your injury, how to best heal, and what measures you can take to monitor and maintain healthy bones. Not only did he successfully treat my fracture, he took the time to educate me about bone density baseline testing and proper supplementation (D3 and Ca) to maintain healthy bones now and in the future. He doesn't just treat the ailment, he educates. He will tell you the how, what, why and where! Superb doctor all the way around. I highly recommend Dr. Fogolin, and would not hesitate to return to him in the future.

My mother arrived in town with a broken arm and recovering from a broken hip. Dr. Fogolin quickly and professionally treated her, saw her for follow-ups, prescribed physical therapy, diagnosed her Osteoporosis, and referred her to a specialist to treat the Osteoporosis. He also referred her to a wonderful General Practitioner, who saw her right away, as well. She is doing so much better now, and is not even using a cane any longer. He was very nice and personable, and we appreciated the care she received!

Great Dr. who listens to your concerns and explains everything in an easy to understand way.

I had an issue with my right ankle Dr Fogolin did everything possible to correct the problem. Explains procedures to where you understand. Right ankle is better than ever thanks to him. Love dr Fogolin !

I have been seeing Dr. Fogolin for several months now - both pre-op and post-op. Prior to surgery he went over every possible option with me and the expected outcome from these options. Very detailed and thorough. Most importantly, the surgery went perfectly and my recovery has been amazing. Two rotator tears, torn labrum, and bicep tendon repair - I could not be more pleased!
