Waste of 2 years
After two years of mixed messages, I gave up and went to see someone else. He could never recall the previous conversation we had, and I don't think he took the time to read notes before seeing me. He made promises of coming up with a diagnosis which never came forth. He would change dosage of medication and send the wrong dosage to the pharmacy. This happened twice. He documented that he educated and provided resources but never said those things during the appointment. I had to do my own research and come up with questions to ask since he really did not provide any information. Completely ineffective, waste of time. On the positive side, I do have to say he was very polite and so was the office staff. He responded to portal messages quickly.

Dr. Goldman worked with other specialists in helping me get diagnosed with a very rare disease. (3 years is the average for scleroderma patients) He started treating me. When I started going to a support group, his care aligned with top research hospitals. His office helped with social security paperwork.

Dr Goldman listened to my issues and told me his opinion on treatment. He also went into the reasons behind his course of treatment. I was so grateful to finally have a good doctor after more than a year of waiting to see a rheumatologist after being diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis. If you have medicaid, choose the Blue Cross Community Family Health Plan if you can.
