My adult daughter has been very sick for about 4 days finally got her to go to the ER this is who she saw and all he said to her was it's probably a virus could maybe be mono but probably not follow up with your own physician which she does not have in 3 days and on his note says to ask that doctor about doxycycline which is an antibiotic. Why would you not just go ahead and prescribed it if she's sick enough to come to the ER and you think she needs it don't you think you should prescribe it. She will not be following up with a physician in three days it's all I could do to get her to go see you. I'm highly disappointed I'm glad it wasn't me or better off you're probably glad it wasn't me I'm a much more aggressive person than she is and you would have given me that prescription or something to make me feel better and maybe some throat syrup or something to make my throat feel better knowing I have no income and no job and that I can't go out and just purchase something for myself
