Best ENT in Austin
Dr. Nason is a ENT surgeon with superior skills and empathy. I worked with him in a surgical setting for many years and saw that he treats his patients with respect, empathy and kindness. I was in the OR many times, took care of his patients post-op and furthermore chose him as my own surgeon for an extensive sinus surgery as well as an Inspire implant. I live almost 300 miles away but will travel and pay out-of-network medical costs should I need ENT care in the future. Excellent physician in every way.

Impressive Credential. Unimpressive Doctor
Experienced Tinnitus since 11/2022. Their Audiologist and Dr. Nason said I have a genetic hearing loss. Wait, WHAT?! He smirked when I told him there's no family history of hearing loss. I was also told my ringing doesn't effect the hearing test. WOW. He didn't go over my medical history and current medication. The only thing he did look was look into both ears and that was it. Said I should invest in hearing device. Didn't provide any helpful Info about my tinnitus what-so-ever. Will NEVER recommend him or their Audiologist.

Disappointed
Completed their 5-page New Patient form to only find out it was a waste of time. It was clearly obvious he didn't even bothered to review it otherwise he wouldn't be surprised my ringing just started 2 months ago after he concluded I had a Genetic Hearing Loss from a hearing test graph, conducted by their extremely uncaring and impersonal Audiologist (Margaret Dean). (NO ONE in my family tree has hearing loss btw) Seeing I was in shock and disappointed of his findings, he said stress, anger, frustration, and caffeine could have contributed to my ringing. Does that mean half the world experiences tinnitus out-of-the-blue? He didn't go over my medical history, my current medications, NOTHING. He definitely didn't take my concerns seriously. And to top it off, Margaret said my ringing shouldn't effect the hearing test. I should have told her, "You try hearing a pin drop with constant ringing in your head.." Very insensitive medical staff.

I would highly recommend Dr. Nason. He takes time to answer questions and explains medical terms in an easily understood way. He’s patient, personable, has a great chair side manner. I had some very serious concerns and he has gone above and beyond to put me at ease but at the same time being honest and sincere in his recommendation for my treatment plan. He came highly recommended by my primary health care provider who is also a patient of Dr Nason.

single-handedly destroyed my life on that surgery table. Lied to me before the procedure, lied to me after the procedure. I never consented to the procedure that happened. Permanent nerve damage and pain due to the careless actions of this surgeon. I pray for everyone walking through his door.

I was so incredibly disappointed with his lack of empathy, his inability to let me finish a sentence, and his indifference in forming an opinion when I was seeking a second opinion. I do not recommend this doctor.

I waited for an hour and then Dr Nason was rude and dismissive when he finally came into the room to see me. He clearly wasn't interested in helping me. It was like I was a bother.

My Son was referred to Dr. Nason 6 weeks ago as he has extreme fatigue and been unable to stay awake. He was rude, asked why we were there and what he could do and why he hadn't done a sleep study first. He didn't even exam my son at all. Said he would send a referral. He never sent a referral for study, ignored follow-up calls, and after sleep study he has obstructive sleep apnea and needs to see an ENT! So we wasted 5 weeks of Caleb being homebound to go back to an ENT. I will not be going back there and this is 2nd time recently my referring dr has seen this and she will not be referring. I'm very upset and disappointed.

My visit to Dr. Nason was first-class from start to finish. The office staff was courteous and professional and I was called to the examination room in just a couple of minutes. The nurse was pleasant and efficient. Dr. Nason took the time to address all my questions and carefully explained non-surgical options for my complaint--something no other ENT has done for me. My only complaint? I should have seen him years earlier.

Dr. Nason saved my husbands life from Stage IV throat cancer. After 5 minutes of meeting him in an ER he had to deliver the bad news and he did it in the most compassionate way you could image. He got us into treatment in record time and then performed his surgery. We are a year out and I still can not say enough about his skill and compassion. Our family just loves him. We are forever connected and I would recommend him to anyone!

After waiting for months for a pediatric ENT in Corpus to see our 11 year old we were told his condition was severe and needed immediate surgery. When they went to book his surgery it was for 2 months out and the dr could only do part at that time - then in a few months we would do another. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and went to Dr. Nason who was so highly recommended. He had us in his office quickly - CT scan done and surgery scheduled within 1.5 weeks. Extremely confident in him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Nason to family and friends. He cares about his patients on a personal level and really LISTENS to his patients and it is hard to find a doctor of his caliber and expertise. Most importantly, he does what is best for his patient. You will get the best care with Dr. Nason and he works hard to get the right diagnosis and treatment plan that will be best for you! If anyone in my family needs an ENT, he is my only choice! His assistant, Jennifer, is wonderful!

Doctor Robert nason is the best doctor I've ever had, he has the most beautiful smile that draws you in. He's awesome in a lot of ways but most of all he's reassuring and attentive to his patients, I just had thyroid surgery and it was a success he told me after having the surgery things would be a whole lot better. And he was absolutely right!! I'm now able to do what I was unable to before, which is keeping food down and stabilizing my weight I'm now stronger then ever!!! Thanks doctor nason.

Dr. Nason was very good at telling me what I already knew. I scheduled an appt. with him was because he had such open availability & I needed to see a doctor for my ear ASAP. The front office was great but I was the first 1st appointment of the day & I saw him walk in 30 minutes after my scheduled appt. He had me do tests and came with the same diagnosis (cant wait to see that bill). I would never recommend Dr. Nason to anyone, the he was unable to help with ANYTHING or how to avoid recurrence.

Due to billing issues cannot recommend. Tried since July to determine issue they claimed check sent in May to their office never received. A second check was sent in July and cashed. In early Oct the first check from May was cashed as well. Numerous attempts to call business manager & email resulted in no returned check or calls. Seems impossible to reach a real person for a problem that has existed since May to the end of Dec.
