Saw him for a year and he never once gave me what I needed. My mood stabilizer wore off halfway through the day and he wouldn't give me the extended release version. When I increased it on my own, he asked I have blood tests done to check the levels and assure I was only taking the amount he'd prescribed. Will not allow you to make your own decisions about your mental health. Also gave me the notion that my depression was my fault because I wasn't doing things I enjoyed or trying to engage in "creative pursuits." Dude, I'm on antipsychotics and I'm DEPRESSED. Of course I can't do these things. On top of that he's adverse to effective antianxiety medications. I suffered the whole time I saw this doctor.
