Absolutely not
Very condescending, little to no bedside manner, and very rude. I definitely would not recommend to my worst enemy. Went for a back pain consult and left defeated. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

Ok. Anyone who complains about Dr Tsuji about him being impolite are bunch of ungrateful, selfish idiots. Dr Tsuji saved me from having a lower back surgery. He is the best pain management doctor. If you want TLC, bring your mommy with you so she can hug you.

Not impressed. I saw him for the 1st time in June. He asked me to email him the following week to remind him of what we discussed. I did, and another email, 2 phone calls and one voice mail later, he finally got back to me. It took 6 weeks. His email was very vague, but bottom line was he didn't feel he could help me. He referred me to other places. He is supposed to be a pain specialist. Not only do I still have chronic pain, it was painful to deal with him. I filled out pages of paperwork, I doubt they were ever read. Waste of time seeing this DR.

Today, I went to Dr Tsuji for the 1st time. I have chronic back pain. I’ve been getting steroid injections in my back for pain for 18 years. I hate taking narcotics, but I do keep a prescription on hand and use them when the pain is severe. Because I do not use 90 pills per year, Dr Tsuji actually laughed about the low amount. I explained that I use over the counter meds daily for pain. Guess when you are a senior citizen then enduring pain is to be expected. I left his office feeling degraded for not popping narcotics more often. This doctor did not suggest a different plan for pain management. It was as though I was wasting his precious time. Well, I will not make that mistake again!

I have complex back problems and a history of 7 back surgeries including a fusion. The pain was still there and more surgery not a good option. Prior to seeing Dr. Tsuji, my other spine and pain doctors had moved on to treating the pain only. I was stuck in a pain mgmt hamster wheel for years. When I switched to Dr. Tsuji, he presented options! I am happy to say I have more control of my pain now and am less reliant on pain meds. Highly recommended.

DR. Tsuji has very little social skills. He doesn't actually hold a conversation and doesn't appear to be interested in what you are saying. He does not listen to your issues-and mostly does not provide information unless you ask repeatedly or specifically. He does not return phone calls. I have never had such a bad experience with a physician. And non of this has anything to do with wanting more pain medication!!!! I did not want pain medicine.
