While traveling from New York on a holiday weekend,my 7yo son suddenly fell ill. He was transferred to Palms West Pediatric ER the night Dr Puglisi was on call.We were in the ER for less than an hour when we were told Dr Puglisi had already reviewed my son’s labs, and had scheduled him for surgery immediately. We were moved into the OR prep and Dr Puglisi was waiting for us.He spoke to me in such a caring calm manner while explaining the seriousness of the situation. After surgery, he came to get me from the waiting room and explained everything in a way that I understood while simultaneously comforting and reassuring me. My son had a ruptured appendix that required a 5night hospital stay.Dr Puglisi was clear with his expectations for what the days ahead would look like and for that I am forever grateful. We are lucky he was on call that night. The following days me met different surgeons from this practice and they were all equally wonderful. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Puglisi and his entire staff are the most compassionate, kind and caring people I have met. From the first call with Nikki for an appointment to scheduling procedures with Autumn, reminder calls from Janet and additional support from Leah. The entire practice is wonderful. Dr. Puglisi takes his time and explains everything in a way you can understand and is conservative with his approach. My family is so grateful to have met him and his staff . We would highly recommend him for any Pediatric Surgical needs! Thank you again Dr.Puglisi!

My little one was a 25 week preemie weighing less than a pound and he developed malrotation of the intestines while in the NICU. Then almost 15 years later he developed scar tissue from that surgery which Dr Puglisi removed with a minimally invasive surgical procedure .He explained the procedure and did the surgery, which went superbly. He is an incredible surgeon and very sensitive to my needs and emotions which were going haywire. He made me feel safe and that’s extremely important because my anxiety was through the roof. I’m so glad and relieved that this skilled surgeon was there to help my little boy recover and get back to his normal life. I would recommend him a thousand time over because he is an incredible pediatric surgeon!

We were blessed to find Dr. Puglisi at Broward Health Medical Center, he attended in the most professional way our little daughter Camila, who has a perforated appendix. He talked to us and explained everything about the procedure and the recovery. He gave us confidence and we were sure our daughter was in the best hands. A few hours later he find us in the hospital and give us a resume about the procedure. Our daughter had an amazing recovery and three invisible marks on her stomach. Forever grateful to you Dr. Puglisi.

Dr. Puglisi listen to every concerns we had about our son and was very compassionate & proactive what needs to be done next. Every staff member in the office is outstanding. We are VERY blessesd to find Dr. Puglisi & the staff!

my son has been Dr. Puglisi for a few months. Since day one there wasn't a doubt in his capabilities. The entire staff in the offices and him are always attentive and go above and beyond for any questions or issue. A true definition of a well managed office and Dr. Surgery wise, speechless to his bedside manners and dedication!

I just want to disagree with the previous reviews and say how wonderful this place is. The stuff is super professional. Everyone is on point and is attentive. But most importantly, dr Roberto Puglisi is a sturgeon from god. I will forever be thankful for his dedication, great service and professionalism!

Doctor Puglisi wasn’t just empathetic to the situation my little boy was going to go through but he was quite professional and made sure that with all the tears in our eyes that he was going to make sure that everything was gonna be alright and it did , I love his professionalism and attentiveness and will definitely make sure he gets praised for his work and his career for a job or many surgeries well done , thanks again doctor Puglisi and god bless you !!!

It was with heart, grace, and understanding of Dr. Puglisi listened with patience, understood and explained in terms that i could understand my health concerns that made the healing process a manageable and educational experience for myself and also helped my mom to alleviate any anxiety she may have and made me better in time for college. Dr. Pugilsi was very professional, thorough and friendly. He does not rush you through the office visit and takes the time to explain everything. We really appreciated his experience and care for our son during a hernia repair and I would highly recommend him to any family!

Thanks to Dr. Puglisi and his team, our 3 year old is healthy and happy after a appendicitis surgery. His patience during surgery kept her from having a large scar, and his expertice keep her from complications.

My son had hirschsprungs disease and needed 2 surgeries before he was one year old. We were referred to Dr. Puglisi from his GI doctor and I was really nervous being that my child was only a few months old. But after our first appointment, I was at ease knowing my baby boy was in good hands. He has such a good bedside manner, and really takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains things well.
