Dr. Ronald Oppenheim, MD

My husband sees the doctor for his Workman’s Comp case. He is very caring and helpful.

First, you call and speak to a live person in his office. They actually answer the phone!He is on time. He is no nonsense. Speaks to you, examines you and symptoms and history, and provides cogent to the point answers.

Dr. Oppenheim is an amazing neurologist. He is easy to get ahold of and always very helpful. My teenage son is not always responsible and was out of town for his doctors apt and he was very flexible with helping us and making sure he has his seizure medications. He is very thorough and I trust him to catch something another neurologist might not. He is very professional and caring. I trust this doctor with myself and my family, I appreciate him so much!

I set up my appointment on the phone and they told me it was 11:30am. I get there and the lady says it's at 12:45pm. We went to Mead Gardens in the meantime and got back at 12:35. Then the lady says my appointment is actually at 1pm. The doctor called us closer to 1:15. I told Dr.O that I had a seizure this month and I haven't had a seizure in 10 years. The last medication i took, Keppra, gave me suicidal thoughts so my old doctor took me off it. Dr. O then went ahead and said he strongly recommends i get on medication right away and that i should get on Keppra since I've already been on it before. I asked how did he know what i needed if i hadn't even had any studies done yet, he then said that he'd give me an order for an EEG. But I should decide on a medication as soon as possible and he recommends Keppra or something similar to it.

I am a fairly new patient. Dr. Oppenheim has been wonderful with trying to get to the bottom of my condition. He has a calming personality with the ability to talk about all possible diagnosis. I feel extremely confident that he won’t stop until his gets me answers. His staff is absolutely incredible. They have been extremely prompt in getting me set up for all of the testing I’ve needed and have been very quick to get me scheduled for an office visit with Dr. Oppenheim. I honestly can’t say enough great things about Dr. Oppenheim & his office! 10/10

Very knowledgeable and straightforward, good doctor. His staff is not good though. Very rude and not sympathetic to patients when you call or come in. Eat at there desk in front of you while communicating with you.

I liked Dr. Oppenheim right away. He was no nonsense, but still personable, very knowledgeable, and I liked him a lot. He also was accurate in my diagnosis. Treatment resulted in no more pain.

Cared more about the worker's comp insurance check than my treatment. Tried one course of treatment that didn't work and gave up. Fortunately a second opinion was able to help to some degree and I'll be seeing them from now on. This doctor was good at making jokes, but horrible at his job.

Wonderful Doctor. Treating a family member for MS and I am so happy we have a doctor who cares and is honest. The staff is great and are there to answer any questions. He has helped us to understand what effects MS has on your life and how you can live a normal life with MS. Great Doctor

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Oppenheim and although he is an old school doctor, he gives you the care you need, very direct and straight to the point but is there to guide you in the right direction. He returns calls when you have question and never ignores you. He has helped me through some rough times with my daughter and will continue to be our Neurologist. The staff is wonderful, they answer the phone and are also there to answer any questions. I'm very happy with Dr. Oppenheim.

Dr. Oppenheim took time with my visit and explained things in a simple and clear manner. He gave me options for treatment and together we found the one that worked best for me. I chose Dr. Oppenheim on the recommendation of my neighbor who is a hospital nurse and I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Oppenheim. My daughter lives in Orlando and needed to find her a neurologist quickly. I am not from the area and asked the doctors that I know and they ONLY recommended Dr. Oppenheim. Now I see why. I am so grateful to have found him. He is brilliant and compassionate. I have seen Dr. Oppenheim for more than 20 years. He is professional but personal as well. His knowledge is unsurpassed. His staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr Oppenheim is in bed with the insurance companies. He is a puppet for the ones that line his pockets. He should be ashamed of himself. He takes advantage of a system that is a mess. How he sleeps at night is beyond me.

He is highly respected and recommended by physicians and nurses in the Central Florida area!
