Just a Meat Factory
I had a 3-year follow-up colonoscopy because there were polyps removed in my previous one. I uploaded those records, and asked them to review them. Dr Schwarz never bothered to look at them. As a result, he gave me incorrect medical advice. And mis-billed insurance, which was a nightmare to straighten out. I left multiple messages with accounts payable, but they never bothered to call me back. This practice has a web portal, but does not use it. There are no medical records available on the portal. This is a practice that pushes patients through the queue without paying attention to them as individuals.

Wake Endoscopy Review
This was my first coloscopy. After much nervous and tense moments beforehand I was relieved to be taken care of so professionally by the whole team. I appreciated the care and attention I was given and I could not have imagined it to go any better.

Great Doctor
I have been going to Dr. Schwarz for many years now and despite the fact he has been doing this for years, he continues to show the same concern and care that he did on my first visit. Thank God we still have doctors like this!!

Dr Schwarz has done four colonoscopies on me and also has done the procedure on my wife, brother and mother. He is the BEST as he found tumors in both my mother and brother. Dr. S is thorough, fast and has a great staff. He is gentle and compassionate as well. I would highly recommend him.

I have been to Dr. Schwarz several times for routine procedures. I like him because he is knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, and personable. He lets you know ahead of time what he will do, and assures you that he will take good care of you. Afterwards, he reviews his findings with you, and gives you a detailed copy of the procedure with photos. He follows up the next day with a phone call.

Dr Schwarz has a somewhat crusty exterior over a truly caring personality. I’ve seen him for two upper endescopies and both times he and his great staff treated me with respect and skill.d

If all you need is a colonoscopy every ten years then you are golden. If, on the other hand, you have a GI health issue that is potentially life threatening, you can forget about coming anywhere near a doctor, let alone help dealing with the situation. If you call the Wake Endoscopy Center where Dr. Schwartz works you get an answering service. They will transfer you to somebody where you can leave a message. They may or may not return your call. When I first called in hopes of dealing pro-acti

He seems to be a man of few words, but he was confident, and just got right to the job at hand. Honestly I don't remember much after the procedure, but the whole registration process, prepping in the surgical room - all leading up to the procedure was very professional, clean, neat facilities, obviously they have it all down to a very well-oiled machine. I would definitely recommend this group!

He was rude and uncaring, just one of several patients he was seeing. After the procedure he did not address all my questions, nor informing me of information that I failed to ask. Without blood work he prescribed medicain without any explanation. I was told by my primary doctor that per the report Schwarz sent him, I needed to schedule a two week post visit. When I called his staff was also rude, treating me as if I was dumb. I will not return, seeking new doctor.

This was my 4th colonoscopy procedure by Dr. Ronald P. Schwarz, MD over a 15 year period. He removed 2 polyps 15 years ago, 1 was precancerous and I am thankful that I had excellent treatment then also on 10/25/2016 experienced same care with removal of another polyp.
