Dr Rose Cunningham is borderline rude and has terrible bedside manner. She doesn't welcome questions even when you are unsure on things. When you do ask them, she'll answer but with a bad attitude that is totally uncalled for and makes you feel like an idiot.

Dr. Cunningham botched my cataract surgery!!! I should have filed a malpractice suit according to other ophthalmologists I told my story to. She claimed that her state of the art equipment made a mistake, but it was HER AND HER STAFF that screwed up royally. So after all the hassle and expense, my really bad vision in my right eye is just as bad as it was before the surgery. When she realized the screwup, she had absolutely no sympathy, simply said that I could have another surgery - at my expense. Despicable doctor and her office staff is horrible also.

I would never let anyone who is so angry that a patient is on medi-cal ever operate on my eyes! While she softened when I shared some of my backstory, it is hurtful to deal with someone so eager to be so judgemental. If you do not want medi-cal patients, don't accept them, but be polite and professional to ALL patients you have!

This office shows absolutely no regard for the value of the patients time. On each of the four occasions I visited the office, I was kept waiting an average of 45 minutes. I fired them on my last visit 17 days ago, after waiting another 45 minutes without seeing the doctor. At that time I requested my records in writing and walked out. I have still not received those records. According to H&SC ss123110(b) those records must be provided within 15 days after receiving the written request. Avoid th

Dr. Cunningham & staff (seen in MV) have been a Godsend! I was referred by my pcp for a follow up after being hospitalized w/ peri orbital cellulitis. I saw a dr there who was rude & dismissive & it kept getting worse. I went almost completely blind in the L eye at the height of things. Dr Cunningham knew what was really wrong immediately. She changed meds & did a procedure which no doubt saved my eye. Everyone has been so accommodating and kind to me during what was a very scary time for me.
