Dr. Talatala is the best primary care physician I have had. He is always thorough at each visit and never feel rushed. Years ago when I started going to Dr. Talatala, he asked why was I taking (2) of the meds on the list of medications I provided. I found out that these (2) meds were for the same problem and I didn't need both. These medications were very expensive. My medications were adjusted and I was grateful that Dr. Talatala noticed this and adjusted my medications accordingly. He has no hesitation in referring a patient for imaging to get a clearer view of a possible issue. I trust his judgement. I referred a friend (who is highly critical of doctors) to him and she was pleased with his demeanor and professionalism.

RUDE STAFF
DR Talatala is fantastic but two memebers of his staff are RUDE. I called to make appt today and was told I couldn't bc I was considered a new patient. I am not considered a new patient with insurance until 3 yrs. I called several times trying to select insurance plan to keep my DR. I work healthcare as well and I know the laws. If I wasn't discharged and I am not seeing another provider then I am still considered a patient. His staff today called just wanting to argue. A conversation was documented that I NEVER had with this person. I will be submitting my complaint.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Talatala’s for about 20 years. Over the years, the level of service has declined. Particularly the office staff. I’ve arrived for an 8:30am appointment and the doors were locked (this happened 3 times in the last 3 years to be exact). The office staff seems disorganized and somewhat rude. (The exception is the new addition of Mary who’s extremely pleasant.) I will not be going back to this Dr. due to the events of my last appointment: 1) I was told no need to fast, which was incorrect (I had to go back a few days later for bloodwork), 2) I had pre-checked in online (that doesn’t work so I had to do the paper work when I arrived), 3) When checking out Carmen (office mgr?) said I owed for my appointment as well as my appointment 6 months ago. No, one should have been my annual physical which is covered at 100%. But no that is not what was coded for either appointment. SO I was charged for both (I have high deductible insurance). Carmen said, “not my fault”. Lastly, the Dr. has ordered unnecessary labs stating “insurance will cover it so you might as well have it done”, and then I got a bill for $100.

Dr Talatala and Staff are the Best
Dr Talatala is very attentive, he follows up and makes sure you are taking your medication. I have been seeing him for many, many years. He is easy to talk to and truly cares. He has always had the best staff. Each and everyone that I have personally interacted with has beenthe best. They are kind, proficient and all around great caregiver. Mrs. Carmen is outstanding, she runs a top notch office. Thank you Dr. Talatala!

Dr. Talatala has been my primary care physician for several years now. He was recommended to me by a nurse while I was in the hospital and I'm so glad she did. I believe he's a wonderful doctor. He's very easy to talk to, understanding and has always resolved any issues I've had with no long waits for appointments. His staff is very kind and caring, especially Carmen who has been with him for many years now. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a primary care physician.

The confusion and lack of documentation at this office is unbelievable! I called FOUR weeks ago for a refill and still haven't gotten a call back. The front office staff is short and rude! I am a nurse and I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone!

I have been seeing Dr. Talatala for 18+ years. He is an excellent physician. He has always been very attentive, listens to my concerns, takes time to explain things to me and has always called back with results from labs, etc.. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone needing an excellent physician.

Our family has been seeing Dr.Talatala for many years now. He has been excellent! He takes time with his patients, which is very hard to find. He's a good doctor, very friendly and easy to talk to, trustworthy, and professional. The staff is always top notch as well. We have never had a problem with anybody in his office and have always been very impressed. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been using Dr. T for many years in Carrollton and will continue to do so. I enjoy going and visiting with him each time I go, he takes the time to explain in plain English what is going on and how to fix any physical problems that I have. His staff is flexible in scheduling and always greet you with a smile. I will use him for all my medical needs until the day he retires or I expire!

I went to see the doctor and after having my bloodwork done, he failed to call me back that my results were negative and also did not refer me to an oncologist or a hematologist Doctor and I ended up being diagnosed with Leukemia after he told me I had HIV. Very unprofessional and I believe his lack of communication caused me to have delayed treatment and medical care.
