Not pleased w my appointment, very casually (before walking out of the door) that I have macular degeneration, but, that I am on vitamins……which had been recommended by Dr Hockett previously. Told Nelligan this had never been mentioned, his reply “ had been incorrectly coded”. I was overwhelmed hearing that diagnosis. Did have a baseline “scan” done and “will see you in a year”. Very dismissive, not the kind of dr I wish to trust the precious gift of eye sight

After two annual visits and new contacts prescriptions, I still had trouble seeing distances but was told with my astigmatisms that was the best he could do. Moved out of state 4 months later and visited my old eye dr.....can see wonderfully well....amazing!

I'm 79 years old with several health issues, including cataracts in one eye. This was affecting my daily live, reading, driving, golf. I decided to have surgery performed by Dr. Nelligan. Ten days after my sight was 20/20 (or better). Thank you so much doctor, you are a fine person and a great physician. I also want t thank and recommend the Eye Care Center of St Augustine FL, an outstanding organization. Alfredo F. Lamas St. Augustine FL alfredo.ferreiralamas@gmail.com

Dr. Nelligan is always right on top of things. I had scar tissue from having cataract surgery. He saw it and immediately sent me to a retina specialist. So I'm really happy with Dr nelligan and I do recommend him to anyone who asks

A little quiet at first makes Dr appear stand-offish. However, at all visits he is thorough, answers as many questions as I have, is always professional. After first visit, I found he had a nice personality, and, a sense of humor.
