Unfortunately i tore my retina while on snowbird, vacation. Dr Agee agreed to see me the same day! Dr Agee was outstanding. He was able to fit me for surgery the very next day. Great follow up the very next day. In my 2 week post op follow up, my eye was better than expected. Dr Agee is so kind, spends time with you, and answers all questions.

We are thankful for this practice and Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Agee! My husbands problems started with a floater which led to a torn retina. Dr. Sullivan worked him into his schedule to repair the tear. The floater continued to be an issue and tore his retina in a 2nd place. Dr. Agee was available to make this emergency repair and then explained he needed to removed the floater via eye surgery. The office staff was excellent in scheduling the surgery out and we are 2 weeks post surgery and his left eye vision is now back to normal. HIGHLY recommend this practice and both Drs - we are thankful for them!

Amazing doctor! I have been treating with Dr. Agree since 2018 when I suffered a retinal detachment. He worked quickly and got me into surgery within days. He saved my right eye! Since then, he has provided me with the best care anyone could ask for. He treats me like family and answers my questions honestly and listens to my concerns. My eyes would not be as healthy as they are without Dr. Agee's professional medical care. I never fail to tell him what a miracle worker I consider him to be. I consider having to wait in the office sometimes for my appointment not that big of a deal when I can expect that he will take his time when my appointment comes up. His staff is friendly and everyone works very hard to keep the patients happy. He is in high demand and that should tell you something right there. Thanks Dr. Agee!

The receptionist right up front will tell you to expect every appointment to take at least 2 hours. 1:45 waiting for 15 minutes of exam. Every time. The waiting rooms are full all the time.

Before moving to St. Augustine, we made sure, because of the nature of my condition, that Dr. Agee had everything needed to continue my treatments for macular degeneration. Upon my first visit, I was surprised to find that they did not have the medication I had been receiving previously and Dr. Agee used something else. I experienced 'floaters' (never had before) after treatment. I called immediately and was told this was normal. After a week I called again and was told the same. After 2 weeks I called again and asked to speak to the Dr. which I was not allowed to do. What made matters worse was the fact the Receptionist insisted I explain to her my medical condition each time I called and would not transfer me to someone with medical training. Total lack of respect/care for the patient. I am shocked they have any good reviews at all and regret my one and only (!) appointment with them.

The staff was very professional and friendly. My wait time was actually not that bad. Dr. Agee was very professional and made me feel at ease about my problem and explained things to me.

Dr Agee provides excellent care and takes time to discuss treatment plan. He has successfully treated both eyes for detached retinas

I was blessed beyond measure today! Southeastern Retina Specialist worked to get me in asap, due to an emergency eye issue, to save my vision. As I sit here, being able to see as I type this, is the most amazing feeling in the world! I didn't feel one bit of pain during the procedure either! The care, compassion, excellent doctor and staff at this business is remarkable and unmatched! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Agee and the staff!

Dr Agee's rigorous training and large number of surgical procedures performed in residency is very impressive. My optometrist made the referral to Dr Agee and a consult easily set up. A vitrectomy was recommended, scheduled, and performed. It went exactly as planned. My vision improved immediately. I only wish the issue with cataracts was better explained. Vitrectomy can cause cataracts to accelerate in size, which happened to me and it required cataract surgery to correct.

I travel a great deal, and have had seven retinal from all over the southeast provide injections in my eye, and Dr Agee is by far the best one i have had. I will recommend to anyone in need that they see him. He is personable, thorough, and gentle. His staff is as good as he is
