I am a retired RN and I think Dr. Dobbs and Suzanne are excellent. You can't go wrong having them do your surgery. I am beyond pleased with my surgical results.

Recently I had an appointment with dr Dobbs as a follow up after a procedure done by him on my knee 10 yrs ago, within the hour I had an ex ray and an injection and am experiencing no more pain. I’ve heard horror stories about rotator cuff surgery, but the minimally invasive arthroscopic procedure performed by Dr. Dobbs was remarkably easy, with very limited post-op pain and so far an excellent recovery. The coordination of care at Reno Orthopedic, from insurance verification and scheduling to pre-surgical assessment, in-office surgery, office appointments and follow-up was all excellent, and busy staff at every step in the process were always friendly, respectful, and great at their jobs. Dr. Dobbs clearly explained the surgical findings, complete with photos, and certainly inspired confidence in the procedure and outcome. And I’ll even be able to have PT at their location very close to my home. Dr. Dobbs and the entire ROC team made this surgery a great and seamless process, and the new ROC facility is really first rate too. Thanks to the entire team at ROC!

Highly recommend. I found Dr. Dobbs and his PA and office assistant to be extraordinary. Dr. Dobbs did his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN which was on of the reasons I chose to meet with him initially. The wait times were minimal. Communications through My Chart was prompt and helpful. And even knowing he has done this surgery numerous times, he spent time with my wife and me to patiently explain the procedure, the expectations for recovery, etc. He was 'present,' and I never got the sense he was anxious to move on to his next patience. My recovery has been just as explained. The surgery itself, done at ROC, was excellent - all staff were professional, competent and a joy to be around.

I've completed all of my follow-up visits after my shoulder surgery. Not only is my shoulder doing very well, Dr Dobbs was always professional with my follow-up visits. He explained every step of my surgery and recovery. I would highly recommend Dr Dobbs to anyone looking for an exceptional surgeon for their surgery.

Dr Dobbs listens and sees you as a whole person and spends time to get to know you, lifestyle, work, hobbies etc. He then works with you to make a plan that fits you.

Dr. Dobbs is a fantastic surgeon. Not only does he know his stuff, he has a fantastic bedside manner. He aswered all my questions even though our time was up. I would recommend Dr. Dobbs.

Everything I was told by Dr Dobbs and his PA Susan , and auxiliary staff was exactly what happened...I did what they suggested and the end result is amazing !No More pain on movement in my L Shoulder !!I tried everything for years...work out hard, dont work out, mild work out, laser and Ultra Sound...BUT Xrays told the truth, I needed a replacement !!..Should have done this 5 years ago, but was not mentally ready...Dr Dobbs and Susan and staff are THE BEST !!!

Dr. Dobbs has performed two shoulder surgeries on me. He's down to earth and easy to talk to. He answers all my questions in a manner that I can understand. He is an excellent surgeon. His Assistant Suzanne Flit is extremely knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. She is caring and compassionate. His M.A. Giouri Sharma is a breath of fresh air. Always a big smile and very caring.

I have seen Dr. Dobbs for an initial consult for pain in both shoulders. My primary care doctor had already x-rayed both shoulders and ordered physical therapy. When the pain started worsening I made the appointment to see Dr. Dobbs. He was very thorough in explaining the x-rays and examining my shoulders. He has ordered an MRI of the right shoulder and will follow up after it is completed. He has excellent bedside manner and makes all questions are answered.

So thorough. Best bedside manner. Highly recommend! Bummer that he fixed my problem and I don't have any needs for any follow up visits ;)

Dr Dobbs is not only a great Doctor but a good man. I saw him with torn bicep tenon, torn labrum, full thickness tear rotator and a partial tear rotator cuff. Dr Dobbs fixed my shoulder. I am thankful to him and staff.

My two surgeries with Dr. Dobbs have been outstanding. He is an extremely competent surgeon and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him and will continue to see him on any orthopedic issue.

I have had the good fortune to have Dr Dobbs as my orthopedic surgeon for left knee and left rotator cuff shoulder surgeries. He is very skilled and I trust his abilities and advice completely. He is also very excellent at not "pushing surgery" before it's time and in maintaining my right shoulder by encouraging home PT and the occasional steroid shot to keep me going until the "inevitable" has to happen. Really glad to have him in my corner

Dr. Dobbsss is an excellent compassionate doctor and surgeon . I have recommended him many times and will continue to do so. He has operated on myself and my husband , we both were able to return to full function . He includes the patient in decision making and listens to his patients !
