Best Doctor I’ve ever had
I’m a long term cancer thriving woman and Dr Rene by far has always been my biggest advocate for my many complex issues. Absolutely does not leave anything up for questions; if you want a Dr that treats you like a person and not a number I would highly recommend seeing Dr Rene over anyone else. I’ve personally had well over 20 plus specialist's in my journey and I will forever be grateful to have been blessed to find Dr Rene!

Moving back to Newnan soon and am searching for good endocrinologist, so reading reviews. Already knew I would not be going to Dr. Rene - went there several years ago...had my thyroid removed 20 yrs ago - had been dealing with fatigue and extra weight - my internist was useless since "numbers looked fine". Convinced it had something to do with my Synthroid Med dosage or some other hormone issue, and since my insurance doesn't require a referral, I went to Dr. Rene. She seemed ok first visit - we talked and she set up the bloodwork. When I returned, anxiously wanting to finally get answers from an "expert", she sent her PA in to give me the results. The PA was nice enough but had no idea about the concerns I had covered with Dr. Rene during the first visit. Advised me to return to my Dr with bloodwork results...TOTAL waste of my time and money. Still dealing with same issues - the search for a good endocrinologist continues.

I have been using this office for several years and while Jennifer, PA, is awesome, their administration is the worst of any medical facility I have ever been associated with and at 69 years old, I’ve seen my fair share of doctors. Getting a simple prescription refill is like pulling teeth...actually would rather go to my dentist than deal with this office. Cannot even remember the number of times they got it wrong, or worse, simply ignored the request. You are alwasy given a voice mail to submit your script, then told wait 24-72 hours before checking. Way to often, I’ve had to drive to the office, ask to speak to an Office Manager simply to get a script filled. I have decided to forgo seeing the Endo and go back to having my personal physician’s office fill my scripts. If you feel you need an Endo, find another one in the area!

I have been completely ghosted by this staff and doctor after being treated after the removal of my thyroid. After trying for almost a month I wasn’t unable to get in touch with anyone on the staff and appointments they’re were supposed to make were not made. I highly discourage anyone from seeing this doctor.

Dr Rene is knowledgeable but her staff and office are terrible. They do not return phone calls or messages. They do not follow through on what they promise. I was on hold for 19 minutes and did not even get an apology, just excuses. Prepare to be there for at least 2 hours for an appointment because that's how long you'll wait to see a doctor. The doctor will not spend enough time with you because they have 5 patients for every appointment time and only 2 doctors so they are always behind.

The most incompetent and lazy doctor I have ever seen in my life. You have to wait forever for her and most of the time she doesn't even have the information she needs to see you. Her attitude sucks always moody and the way she talks to patients and staff is unacceptable.

I have been seeing Dr Rene since we moved here almost 8 years ago. I had my thyroid removed and Dr Rene guided me through different treatments to get me on the path I needed. She NEVER gave up on me even when I was asymptomatic, she kept at finding the right solution for me. I have never felt better after many times that seemed hopeless. If you want an Endocrinologist that will listen to you and work to find your best treatment, you will be very happy with Dr. Rene.

I dread coming to my appointments in Newnan because I know something is always going to go wrong and I'm going to spend half of my day waiting on the 5 minutes I get with Dr. Rene. Currently it's 1 hour past my appointment time and the doctor JUST came into the room. I don't understand why I have to come in only to be told my levels are ok. It's as if I have to come in just so I can be charged my copay. If there was another endocrinologist in town, I'd be switching.

She's rude. Your appointment could be scheduled at a certain time but she won't see you till an hour later or more. If you can go somewhere else, I highly recommend finding another doctor.

The front office is very mixed up. There is a lack of professionalism on the part of the nurse, I never knew she was a nurse due to her wearing casual cloths. Nobody ( nurse) called me back after I called #times to find out if results were back. ( said she can't call 500 people),) Dr. left me by not explaining a few key pieces of information. She indicated to me it is out of her hands concerning the front office. Suggestion: organize up front, dress more professional, hire another nurse.

She seems to be very nice and professional. Concerned with your issues and tries to help. I have no problem with her; however I have only seen her a couple times. The office staff is not the most considerate bunch. She really needs a more caring staff and one that will be prompt in returning calls, sending prescriptions to pharmacy etc. The nurse totally forgot to send mine in until I called the office back. I think a customer service class/seminar would do them good other than replacing them.
