Rude and uncomfortable - do not recommend
I saw Dr. Salma Jehangir a few years back and the appointment was uncomfortable, her behavior was odd, and she made a comment about my surgeon did an “ugly job” with my surgery and scars (abdominal surgery, unrelated to her or gynecology). Completely inappropriate and should have reported it back then, do not recommend.

Happy to have Dr. Jehangir by my side through this
I went to Lotus blindly after a google search and I am happy I did. I feel protected, understood and advocated for. I cant understate the value of the conversation I had with Dr. Jehangir and as I navigate my health in new ways, I am grateful for the team at Lotus.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!
Do NOT get established with Dr. Jehangir and her PA! They are nice but DONT expect to get care in emergency. When she and her PA are on vacation, you will NOT have someone to take care of you. Lotus Gyn does NOT have other doctors to cover you. The emergency room is your only option. (If you aren't an established patient, other doctors usually can't see you right away) I have been to Lotus 3 times with the same problem. I had to go to the emergency room one time due to the pain. Today, I woke up in pain. I called Lotus. Both Dr. Jehangir AND the PA are on vacation. There is NO ONE to help me. The person in the office said they CANT see me until next Monday. 7 days! Do NOT establish here. I'm hurting, Dr. Jehangir and PA won't be back for a week! I can't go a week in pain!

I love Dr. Jehangir, I have been seeing her for about 3 years now. However, for my last appointment I waited for an hour and 10 minutes. My appt. was at 11:00, she saw me at 12:10. Besides that, I would highly recommend this office.

I have been to a handful of gynecologist in Austin, Texas, and I came across her over 5 or 6 years ago. She got me. I've continued to visit her clinic bc of the consistent quality in time, communication, and overall care from her and her staff. She has an engaging personality and seems very thoughtful and up-to-date in many types of medicinal practices. I appreciate her respect and her office staff creates a great environment as well, especially for a yearly visit that isn't the best thing you're looking forward to for the day. I appreciate her assistance to my health and confidently recommend this doctor.
