Dr Durkee did my hysterectomy in august 2019 and I cannot say enough good things. It went perfectly and her mannerisms were attentive, informative and just an overall good person.

Dr. Durkee is fantastic. She is on time and friendly. Her staff are great too. Her PA Stephanie is super nice and caring. Dr. Durkee did a hysterectomy on me which ran her day late into the evening. She had great communication with husband about the surgical situation and she came and visited me in the hospital at 9:30 at night to see how I was doing!!! (How many doctors do that anymore??) I am a health care professional myself.....Trust me, you will get great care from Dr. Durkee and her staff.

she was the on-call OB dr during my labor and delivery at Overlake. I was 8cm dilated and ready to push. It was her and just one nurse. She covered me and sat in silence while I pushed. No words, just looked away at my husband. I mean it was so awkward. Thank God i only pushed for 5 minutes. But I didnt even know if my baby was crowning or anything... I mean If i could I wouldve just had the baby at home and caught him myself. Bad experience would not recommend her if I had the choice.

This doctor shows no interest and care for patients. As a first time mom-to-be, I’d like to have a team that I can rely on and trust in my Ob care, but in my first visit Dr Durkee , she was basically telling me to see different providers and don’t bother her if I have issues. She also stated that she’d not do delivery but whoever on-call Ob would do. I’ve never heard this kind of experience from any of my parents/pregnant friends. It’s a horrible experience, and now I feel unattended and uncared for, without having a Ob in my care.

This doctor never properly informed me of the results of my ultrasound. I had a miscarriage and she focused on the D&C but not the underlying issue of why I might have been having recurrent miscarriages. She requested tests, but failed to report the details?!
