Dr.Newell is the best doctor I’ve had in my life,
She is caring, understanding and realizes that many of us have a progressive disease. She is a excellent communicator she discusses treatment options , listens to concerns. Many doctors don’t listen , just bark orders at you and leave. She understands pain management, it can’t be eliminated but mitigated.

Do not recommend
This doctor aggressively prescribes pain medication to her patients. This resulted in an opioid addiction, detox, and a string of health issues. Do not recommend.

Dr. Newell is amazing. She is prompt. She is very thourough and kind. She actually called me on a Saturday to talk about some nit so great test results. She spent a significant amount of time explaining the results, coming up with a game plan and answering all my questions. I am beyond grateful to have her as my Rheumatologist.

Dr Newell is a very friendly, helpful, and understanding doctor whom, in my experience, is excellent at communicating with the patient. I only wish the scheduling wasn't so extremely tight Which makes unexpected changes very difficult. I suppose the GOOD doctors are crowded for a reason tho'!

I have been seeing Dr Newell for many years and I think she is the best Rheumatologist ever. She is kind, compassionate and very understanding. She sees you as an individual with unique concerns, not just another 5 minute patient. She is down-to- earth and truly listens to your needs and concerns. She responds quickly if you need her and her staff are a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her but I understand why she's not taking new patients. She's that good!

Dr. Newell is such a caring and compassionate doctor she listens to you and studies you to make sure she using and offering the best treatment out there. She lets you make the decision of what treatment you want to go with which i like that i have a say in my medical management. I am very greatful to have her as a doctor!! Every doctor should strive to be like her in their practice and remember they are treating a patient and not just the disease..

She is not actually accepting new patients, and the staff is incredibly rude. Scheduling 6 months out with zero availability. If you need a Rheumatologist go elsewhere. Doctors in this situation do not have capacity to actually treat patients well, just churn them through.

You really can't classify her with any other Dr's. She's in a hole class of her own. Dr. Newell is the most amazing, compassionate, and caring Dr. EVERY time I see her, she asks about my daughters and their well being. She always asks me about my other chronic Illnesses and how I'm doing with them. I know she will care for me. I know she will listen to me. She listens to my every word. She treats me like the individual that I am. She treats me, not my diagnosis. I'm so blessed to have her.

Dr Newell has been my arthritis doctor for about 15 years. In all the times with her I have never felt rushed or that I'm not listened to. Dr Newell will spend as much time with you as you need. She also listens to you and believe me there are doctors who you can tell are not listening to you at all. If they don't listen how can they possible diagnose you.

I would recommend Dr. Newell to anyone needing this kind of physician. She is kind and intelligent and it's difficult to find both in one provider. She is easy to reach when I'm having a flare and very easy to work with. She listens to her patients. She took excellent care of my dad and takes good care of me.
