Dr. Sara Niego, MD

A strangely hostile doctor and practice for a psychiatrist, of all providers! I was late to an appointment as a brand new patient. Arrived to the office and apologized and received a death stare from the receptionist, who promptly charged me my $97 copay. Dr Niego materialized and immediately told me she would not see me, in the rudest possible manner. Simple kindness, understanding and courtesy - even in explaining that I’d have to reschedule and could not be seen - is all I was seeking and all a patient deserved, especially at a mental health provider. Do not see this doctor.

She waited over a week to refill a prescription. Going through withdrawal is not pleasant

Adequate for refilling simple prescriptions but don't expect actual 'therapy'. Nice person but repeats generic questions each visit. Staff at her current location (Waynik Group) is incredibly unprofessional and under-resourced. Would avoid the entire practice if any other options are available to you.

Adequate to write obvious prescriptions. Stares at her laptop screen the entirety of every visit. When I needed a callback between visits due to medication side effects, she completely ignored the need and never returned the call. Had to have the on call doctor paged at night to resolve the issue. Don’t see her if you have anything but the simplest of issues requiring medication.

So unprofessional. Confused, rude and incompetent. Can't believe she has any patients.

Sarah Niego. Is very well educated. Love how she practices. She learn about you, family history. Medications history. Before she made a decision on what’s to prescribes. Great MD. Not like the others who will write you stuff just because others patients are pills seeking. She is the MD. Don’t act like you know more than her. She will help you as she helps me and my family will follow with her as well
