Dr. Sasha Hamdani, MD

Dr. Hamdani is kind, smart and always so great with my child. She is so professional and always makes us feel at ease. I have tried many doctors and she is by far the best we have ever been to. I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr. Hamadi was very friendly and personable. I immediately felt comfortable opening up to her and she carefully explained the diagnosis and treatment options and answered all my questions.

I had a great visit with Dr. Hamdani. After a nearly decade long journey in the mental health medical system, I've dealt with misdiagnosis, inappropriate treatment and the subsequent side effects. Dr. Hamdani actually listened to my explanation of my experiences and treatment goals to come up with a plan together. It was so refreshing after such a long journey and I'm excited to keep working with her.

Just met with Dr Hamdani for the first time. She was very easy to talk to and totally down to earth. She knows her stuff and we came up with a treatment plan with medication being the 3rd option. I have never had great experience with psychiatrists in the past so this was such a gift! Grateful to have found her as an ally to my mental health! It took a couple months to get in but so worth the wait!

I was referred by my doctor to see Dr. Hamdani and she is thoughtful, caring and incredibly intelligent. Our appointment felt like collaborative teamwork, coming up with solutions and strategies to best impact me. I wish I had found her earlier but I'm so glad I have found her now! PS: If you are not following her on Instagram and TikTok, she is doing amazing work about ADHD.

I just met with Dr. Hamdani for our initial appointment. I've seen handfuls of doctors and health professionals over the past year as I've been managing long-haul COVID, and I've left so many of those appointments feel frustrated and in tears. Not because of the answers (or lack thereof) that I got, but because of the lack of human to human connection within these interactions. Even in a seemingly short appointment, I felt seen, heard, and respected by Dr. Hamdani. I highly recommend Dr. Hamdani for anyone who has had experiences like I've had navigating around the healthcare world mid-/post-COVID.

My daughter was experiencing suicidal thoughts during her senior year of High School and I was referred to Dr. Hamdani to help her. She was rude at best. Her bedside manner was icey and short. Very inflexible with her schedule and she treated my daughter like a number vs. a patient. She was also extremely rude to me. She is a Rx prescriber and does not approach treatment from a holistic perspective. I have since found a wonderful psychiatrist who has helped my daughter immensely. If you want someone to write you a script, then by all means Dr. Sasha is your Doctor. If you want someone to treat you holistically and with compassion, look elsewhere.

Dr. Hamdani is absolutely incredible. I've never met a provider that I am more comfortable with. She is kind, sweet, and attentive. I was able to talk freely with how I am feeling in a setting that was accepting and nonjudgmental. I would recommend her to anyone needing psychiatric care.

Has a great bed side manner. Is very informative and caring. Was punctual for visit.

Dr. Hamdani was fantastic. She took into consideration my entire medical history including previous issues that make my current medication invalid. She was thoughtful of my psychosocial dynamic in her recommendations and helped me understand the benefits of why my medication needed to be changed. I am very grateful to have found her and look forward to a continued patient/provider relationship.

Dr. Hamdani was great and very easy to talk to. I thought she was very thorough and asked a lot of questions. And for the first time I felt like I was speaking to someone who totally understands ADHD and the other mental health disorders that can contribute to it! I also felt like she empathized with my answers to all of the questions that sometimes make us feel shameful to answer. No one likes feeling scattered. Even virtually it felt like a hug! She was able to make a recommendation that my other two regular MDs had never thought of (not their specialty). I look forward to my next appointment! My tips-Make sure you fill out her patient questionnaire which is different from the new patient forms in advance and ask when you schedule that they are making you a full new patient appointment. (This wasn’t her fault, things happen). Also there is a good chance I missed that form in an email somewhere!

Dr. Hamdani was wonderful. She is so smart and compassionate. I was very nervous to see a psychiatrist in general based off of horror stories, and this was the exact opposite of what I have heard from others' experiences with other psychiatrists. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to my concerns and provided an excellent plan to work through. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone needing care.

Dr. Hamdani is WONDERFUL. She's very busy, but it's TOTALLY worth the wait. She doesn't quickly send you off with a random medication like I've experienced with other psychiatrists. She presents a variety of options (both medicine and non-medicine) with their benefits and drawbacks and lets you decide which option feels best for you. I would recommend her to everyone!

My visit with Dr. Hamdani was excellent. She was easy to talk to, asked me questions, suggested a treatment plan and asked if I had any questions. I look forward to working with her.

So thankful to finally see a provider who is as kind and outgoing as she is clinically brilliant and helpful. Cannot wait to see how things progress. Thank you so very much.
