Knowledgeable & Excellent Bedside Manner
I had an appointment with Dr. Burge to follow up on CT results and possible treatment for chronic sinusitis, congestion, and bilateral ear pain. He had excellent bedside manner and was extremely knowledgeable. You very seldom get both of those these days. I was not expecting to need surgery and definitely had no intentions on having surgery even if I needed it. However, I am considering it now after having a good experience at the visit. I just realized why my nasal spray drains back out on one side; which further supports he was correct in his findings and what I may need to feel better.

Everyone was personable and professional. Dr. Burge was very knowledgeable and listened and answered question fully. Wait time was exceptional. I arrived 30 minutes early as requested for my first appointment and was on my home before my scheduled appointment time.

kind and knowledgeable
Dr. Burge really exemplifies how a physician and surgeon should be: he’s kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and patient. He successfully repaired my deviated nasal septum, several months ago, and it went very well. The follow-up care has been phenomenal. I would highly recommend him and his staff. In fact, I now see him for all of my ENT maladies.

Amazing bedside manner
I have been in the medical field for over 20 years. Dr. Scott Burge was on call at Methodist Germantown when I was seen in the ER and eventually admitted. He initially impressed me with his excellent bedside manner. He listened to my concerns and appropriately scheduled me for surgery the next day. He has a very calming effect while explaining his treatment process. After surgery, he gave specific instructions to the nursing staff on how to promote healing. He is truly a caring physician. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an great ENT.

I highly recommend Dr. Burge
There were several issues with the right side of my nose which Dr.Burge took the time to show me and explain the procedures to me.I had the surgery at ST.Francis surgery center, which i would recommend as well. The surgery lasted around 2 hours and I did not have to take any of the prescribed pain medicine. Dr Burge, the nurses, and office staff at Mid-South Ear,Nose and Throat are awesome and i am greatful for their care.

Highly Recommended
I have personally never had any type of surgery before. Although mine was nothing too severe, Dr Burge made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and explained everything to a T. I couldnt be more happy today. The whole experience pre-surgery and post-surgery went exactly how he explained. He was very professional during the whole process. Thank you Dr Burge!! Highly recommended!!

It was wonderful! Dr. Burge was very kind, on my last appointment the office had to fit two weeks off work into one but he still was kind to me and explained everything thoroughly. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. He's also funny, I highly recommend him:)

Dr. Scott Burge is a God sent! I first consulted with Dr. Burge while at my wit's end. I'd exhausted every avenue I had in obtaining a correct diagnosis for my upper respiratory problems. I'd consulted with three MD doctors and two specialist doctors to no avail. During my first visit with Dr. Burge, he informed me exactly of what had to be done for a proper diagnosis. Due to the covid 19 limitations on medical procedures, it couldn't be done during the first visit. My second visit with Dr. Burge was the answer to my prayers! I received a proper diagnosis after 9 months of worrying and mental anguish. Dr. Burge immediately presented me with a treatment plan that we both agreed to. Two weeks later Dr. Burge performed the life changing surgery that I needed! It went flawlessly. I am forever grateful to Dr. Burge, his professionalism, patience and understanding. My experience with Dr. Burge ranks as one of the best experiences of my life. Thanks to Dr. Burge, I have my life back!!

I was lucky to have Dr. Burge when he operated on my nose and sinus. Best bed side manner and truly cares for you. I really enjoyed visiting him from the initial consultation through surgery. He has magic hands. Really hard to find now. He showed me the test results and explained in detail what they were going to have to do to help me. I can't wait to see him again.
