Dr. Sean Donahoe, MD

My mother just started as a patient after her cardiologist of over 40 years retired. Dr. Donahue is not her physician, however he was the on call doctor tonight when, after a change in her meds, her blood pressure was very high and out of control. She was nervous and needing to know of she should change her evening doses to address this issue to safely get through the night until her appointment with her treating physician, Dr Friedman, tomorrow. Dr. Donahoe sounded put out, was rude and belittling to my mother. This is a doctor who was unapologetically uncaring and disrespectful. I recommended this practice and Dr Friedman to my mother. My experiences there have been so positive. I expected a much better experience from an on call Dr speaking to a concerned, 82 year old patient whose BP was not under control. This is not just a disappointment, it’s a reason to find a new practice. I would not normally leave a review, however this was reprehensible behavior.

I've been his patient for the last 4 years. He's easy to talk to and takes the time to explain options . Great doctor.

Dr Donohoe is kind, caring, professional, and probably best of all, curious. My husband has had open heart valve surgeries twice and is still having fluid retention and fatigue issues. Dr. D, New to us, is evaluating him based on his medical notes and fresh new interview, and has ordered new tests to come up with a fresh plan. His staff is also terrific and seems to be happy working for him....that says a lot.

So great to have this top notch Dr here in the Hamptons! Everyone I know Uses him

DR , Donahoe will diagnose you with out an real facts , it's all about building his patient base , does not care about his patients as he pretends, Will not return a patient call Himself.

Dr. Donahoe is the best cardiologist that I have ever met. He give the patient's health problem his complete attention taking care to study in depth the patient's heart history. I found that unlike other doctors I had seen he showed determination in getting to the bottom of the my problem. He ordered tests that were necessary to finding the answer. Dr. Donahoe's care has given me relief from worry and brought me confidence and understanding of my heart issues. He is kind, generous and funny too
