Meningioma removal
Dr. Raza is an exceptional physician who excels in his profession. He removed a meningioma located between my visual arteries in my brain. The surgery was long and complex, I was referred to him by a Dr. who said he was the best surgeon to perform this procedure. It was a very successful operation and thanks to Dr. Raza I’ve had an amazing recovery.

Underwent surgery procedure for 2nd pituitary tumor. 1st surgery was at West Jefferson Hospital in Marreo, La. in 2011. Dr. Raza did the surgery at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Tx, This was a difficult surgery due to having a lot of scar tissue from 1st surgery. Dr. Raza is an excellent physician at MD Anderson and I would highly recommend him. The results from my surgery was excellent.

I had a rare meningioma that was causing loss of vision. It was in a very delicate place, putting pressure on optic nerve, etc. Dr. Raza performed an eleven hour surgery, approximately to remove it. He and his staff were wonderful and I thank God for his kindness, ability and wisdom. He is an excellent neurosurgeon and I would recommend him highly.

Excellent surgeon and facility. Dr Raza explained the procedure with associated risks in detail. Surgery went as planned and I am 2.5 years out from tumor removal with no deficits. I would highly recommend Dr Raza and his staff.

Dr. Raza was wonderful in explaining the complexity of a difficult surgery and the possible risks/benefits. He was empathetic, professional and helpful in providing the information I needed in order to make an informed decision about surgery. He was honest about outcomes but still very reassuring and empathetic. Post surgery, he and his team were wonderful!! I was getting such great care! He's wonderful and would highly recommend him to friends and family.
